I like the electric vibe, good service, and I didn't even wait longer than 60 seconds for my drink to be ready. Even though they were busy. Everything on the menu looked so good, that I had a hard time deciding what to order. I work as a travel nurse and I looked up coffee shops near me. I didn't want to go to a Starbucks because I've tried everything on their menu at least once and a Starbucks can be found anywhere. I wanted to go to a place that is local and unique. This is what I found and I certainly will come back when I'm back in town.

6 Year Updated: It has been 6 years since I wrote my initial review. This is still the BEST coffee shop in Rome, and I would highly recommend visiting!!

I love this coffee shop because it is local. I have to add that I have visited several times and the staff is very friendly and remembers me and my order. That personal touch is nice.

The drinks were very good, but the scones were a revelation. The staff were slammed when I placed my order, but they worked to fill orders as quickly as possible and were very friendly the whole time. The mint frap was delightful and the dirty vanilla chai latte my girlfriend got was said to be delicious.

This is genuinely one of the best coffee shops in the southeast, and maybe the country. The coffee is fantastic, and they offer a variety of preparations. The espresso is consistently of excellent quality, and matches even the espresso of even the snootiest New York shops. The beans are excellent and varied, and offered at a remarkably good price compared to large urban roasters like Counter Culture or Intelligentsia.

The one downside is that they have no cold brew, but the ice coffee they do have is remarkably sweet regardless. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate and very friendly.

UPDATE for 2018: They now have cold brew! And it's wonderful!

I had an amazing first experience here today! Jordan and Parker were awesome and took great care of all their customers. It was exactly the feeling I was looking for in a small coffee shop. Try the quiche if you get the chance!
