The Vanilla Bean

This is a jewel in the crown of this beautiful town. The food was great. I recommend the quiche. The service was A+. We were riding though from Florida. We will stop here again.

I really wanted to love this place, and even gave them multiple chances to change my mind that the coffee wasn’t horrible, but i’ve been a few times now. The cashier seems like she hates her job and is not very friendly. I get and iced caramel latte and it just tastes like bitter watered down coffee. I don’t see any other negative reviews so maybe i just got extremely unlucky and caught them at bad times? not sure. i won’t be going back though.

Their blended coffee is amazing! This restaurant is immaculate. It's always ridiculously clean. The atmosphere is beautiful and gorgeously decorated and I love the fact that just about all the food is made from scratch. They do all of their baking in-house. The best desserts and baked items ever. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I like to support local businesses and I love that it's run by a local family.

I love this place. Whenever I am in town, I stop by for their Morning Glory muffins and a cup of coffee. I buy several when they are available and freeze them. That way I can enjoy them later. Small, quaint, cozy, just the right atmosphere for a relaxing breakfast or lunch. Enjoy.

Quaint place located downtown Monticello. Always friendly. Food is made fresh. Not always fast but worth 5 mins of your time. It Is always clean and neat. Breakfast items go pretty quick. Lunch sandwiches fantastic. Good selection and more than fair pricing.

Great coffee and lots of choices.

Service was not good. Very little desserts to choose from and took 15 minutes for one young lady to get a coffee order straight. Sorry that I drove with high exceptions and to be let down. I heard great things about The Vanilla Bean, maybe it was just a bad day!

The best place in the world and I do mean the world to go and get Red Velvet Cake. I'm a very picky eater and I don't even like sweets let alone eating cake but this place changed my life. I love the employees as well.
