Mzizi Coffee Roaster

I've started going here in the mornings before my classes and the coffee does not disappoint. The people that work here are just the nicest ever! The only tiny thing is that something the coffee takes a minute to come out but that's totally understandable and everytime I've come they've gotten faster and better! Couldn't recommend this place more

The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. I come here just about whenever I get a chance. The owner is very kind and friendly and it just wouldn’t be the same without him. And to top it off, this is some of the best coffee I’ve had. He also roasts his own beans, which I’ve bought for my own espresso machine, though nothing tops the way he makes his espresso. I highly recommend it!

I love this place. I am visiting from Houston and Hasan was amazing. Let me work here all day and served up amazing coffee and snacks. Support this spot a little treasure in Marrieta. And loads of vegan and vegetarian options!!

My wife and I stopped in this morning after going to the grocery store. She got the French Press coffee and I asked for a tea. I wasn’t sure what to select, so I let the owner choose for me. The tea was amazing and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her coffee. The owner was very gracious and thanked us for coming in. I also noticed when he was serving a couple of regular customers he had their order ready before they even placed it verbally. Now that’s service! We will be sure to add Mzizi to our weekend routine.

What a gem of a coffee shop. My wife took me there this morning. Warm, inviting, and a tasty cup of coffee made with care. One of my new favorite spots.

Absolutely delicious coffee!! I buy Mzizi beans, grind them, and brew in a French press at home. Best coffee I've had. The shop is also wonderful, small, quaint and cool artwork. Give Mzizi a try.

Maybe it was an off day, but for my experience
Coffee was scalding
Tastes were flat
The Maple Bourbon syrup added nothing to my latte.
The bathroom was falling apart.

Gets a star for alternative milk.

This part of East Cobb really needs a coffee shop so I hope it succeeds. The coffee is great. The service is friendly, but may be slow, just one person.

The few lower ratings on this coffee shop look to be a couple year's old when Mzizi's first opened. I personally found this to be a very pleasant experience. Nice decor, super-friendly "Assan" (spelling?) the owner I presume, and really hot cappuccino, like I like. Here's my 5-stars.
