What a sleeper breakfast spot! Tommys has such delicious donuts amd pastries. The strawberry one was out of this world. The biscuits and gravy were excellent! The stuffed french toast was so good it didnt even need syrup. The whipped cream inside was perfect. This spot is something you shouldnt pass up on! Stop on by when heading up to the lake!

West Macon bakery covers all bases. They literally have the best doughnuts I've ever had. There is a crisp, heartiness to them that you don't get anywhere else. They have lots of frozen dishes and casseroles too, in various convenient sizes. 3 out of 4 have been really good!

We went here because they said they had Macarons and breakfast. The breakfast was ok. The biskets and gravy was good but the stuffed French toast was only done on one side and the other was soggy uncooked bread. The Macarons where hard and stale and stuffed with a cheap frosting. It felt like a waste of $40.

Extremely inviting atmosphere, personable staff, divine menu, and a family-type environment. What's not to love? I recommend Tommy's to those who enjoy Southern style cooking with a smile!

Went to the mayhem game, they scored 3 points. Should have been able to redeem tickets for donut holes, but they said my whole family had to come up there. Paid for 4 tickets but since I was the only one that went there for the donuts for everyone they said only one ticket per person. Not worth the drive!

Tommy's is a Macon staple and I recommend everyone stop here. The food is delicious and the donuts, pastries, cookies and muffins are made in-house daily. Not only will you have one of the best meals in town, more than likely Tommy himself will greet you as you come in the door. It doesn't get any better than this!

Overpriced & Underwhelming
I really wanted to like this place, but after going out of my way to visit it, I was incredibly disappointed.
We had seen the local news feature raving about their donuts, so we went there eager to try their baked goods.
1st, I received no help from the staff. After entering I stood at the counter waiting for the blonde girl who was staring off into space to offer to me some assistance, but she just stood there inches away from me doing nothing. She didn't even acknowledge my existence, which was obviously a turn off. Eventually another girls who'd been helping a couple checkout came over to help me, but she didn't offer any helpful information, even though I made clear the fact that it was my 1st visit.
2nd, I decided to order a 1/2 dozen donuts, but only learned after the fact that they don't actually sell donuts by the dozen or 1/2 dozen. No, they price everything individually, so my 1/2 dozen donuts cost over $10. After the fact I also figured out I'd been overcharged by about 40 cents, but by then I was already pretty sure I wouldn't be going back, so it was merely more insult to injury.
3rd, and most importantly, none of the donuts we got were even remotely worth the price. If you are thinking of visiting this bakery it's important to note that their donuts aren't true yeast donuts; they're only fry cakes. Consequently, they lack that fluffy chewy consistency I personally look for in a donut. Honestly, there was not one memorable donut in the bunch and a couple that simply weren't good.
Based on my experience I was tempted to give this place 1 star, but since we didn't try their lunch offerings, I decided to split the difference and give them 3 stars since it's possible that their savory offerings may make up for what their baked goods lack.

Tommy and his crew really focus on taking care of everybody that walks through the door. Whether it is a breakfast sandwich, a donut, or even a cheeseburger, I recommend Tommy's for a great dining experience.

Food was wonderful and the service was amazing! The owner even gave me some biscuits they had made that morning so I could go feed the ducks at the nearby lake. Was a very pleasant dinning experience

The Apple Fritters are my favorite, but you have to get there fast...they sell out quickly.....must be everyone's favorite! The chicken salad is delicious, too. Tommy and his staff are so friendly!
