5 Stars for Ambiance & Atmosphere
3 Stars for Price/Quality of Cinnamon Roll & brewed coffee ($4.50 is too much for what you get with the cinnamon roll... And it doesn't seem like they are consistently made) There was a brand new baking sheet that were generously iced and we got one from the sheet that was already started. Very little icing. They also warmed it with a microwave. 😐 Seems like they have only one roast of coffee brewed and I don't know what to compare it too... But it seemed like a light roast brewed strong. It wasn't my favorite. I will come back to this place because I am all about supporting local businesses, but I wouldn't buy another cinnamon roll & maybe I will try one of their other coffees.

This café is adorable and their service is incredible. Very kind and polite staff, and the coffee is great. I love the ambience of the shop. It is very cozy and feels like a real coffee shop. I’m looking forward to a next time!

Charming, great staff😊-5 stars, iced dirty chai was okay-3 stars, cinnamon roll and sausage biscuit not very good-2 stars. Banana bread not really very flavorful 🙁
Cute Stuart Little door on the outside, great outdoor seating, but sadly the pastries not quality for expectation and $$$

This place looks amazing! The cinnamon bun was very moist and loaded with flavor! Our coffees were on point. The service was good.

Cutely decorated coffee shop in time for Valentine’s Day, but the food was not good. I ordered a grilled cheese and had to send it back for the cheese to be melted, when I got it back, it was cold. My husband ordered chicken and waffles and it looked like they just bought already made waffles and frozen chicken from the grocery store and just heated it up. I’m glad I supported a local business, but the desserts and food is honestly gross. :(

Okay...so I loved the atmosphere of this place. We were visiting from out of town and we found this place after visiting Pretty Good Books bookstore. My cappuccino was excellent. My wife ordered a cinnamon roll and a spicy chai latte. She was a little disappointed. The cinnamon roll was a still cold in the middle and the she said the chai latte was too spicy. That being said the staff was friendly and the cafe had a wonderful ambiance. If I am back in town I will stop here again.

Charming new addition to LaGrange. Conveniently located with ample free parking. Inside, it's light and bright. Exposed brick walls and rustic wood accents give it a warm, lofty feel.
For a first visit on a very busy Sunday, I was impressed with the quality of food and service. I will definitely return!

Sweet Roast Cafe is a breath of fresh air in a small town to a family visiting from a big city. Their food and coffee is delicious, their environment is fresh and modern, and the staff are super friendly. We were staying at Great Wolf Lodge where the food is less than gourmet and everything else around seemed a bit too rough around the edges. Sweet Roast is a diamond in the rough that, with a slightly more extensive food menu, could compete with local coffee shops in larger cities.

Awesome coffee shop with delicious coffee! Amazing looking desserts (I haven't tried them, but they look scrumptious!)

A quaint coffee shop with good coffee and good cinnamon rolls.
