Great place to get some coffee and work. Love the atmosphere.

You can just forget about going to Starbucks or Dunkin after you go to this place. The drinks are incredible. I have had the Signature drink (Frozen) and the Cafe Latte (Hot). Both have great flavor and are so rich and satisfyingly delicious. There is something there for everyone whether you are wanting sweet drinks or luxurious espresso flavor! I have been telling everyone I know about my new favorite spot!

Such a cute coffee shop with yummy choices. My Signature frozen mocha coffee was amazing. There are plenty of outside seating as well as inside seating. There are three private restrooms. I will be back.

TLDR: This is one of those extra special coffee shops that you rarely find. Beyond excellent in every facet. More below.

Folks, in this age of coffee shops on almost every corner, very rarely does a shop come around that gets everything right: drink selection, flavors, seating, snacks, atmosphere, parking, customer care, and the list could go on.

Having worked for three different shops between Kennesaw, Marietta, and Woodstock, I can confidently say that Lazy Labrador is that exceptional "one in ten thousand" shop.

Drink selection: The menu is vast, but not overwhelming. There's a clear order to the vastness, and finding what you want is not difficult at all.

Flavors: Most shops will carry around ten flavors, with some specialty seasonal flavors sprinkled here and there throughout the year. Lazy Labrador has easily 15+ flavors. That opens up loads of flavor combinations to experiment with, and eventually find one that suits you perfectly. Being a former barista myself, I'm always mixing flavors that nearby customers wouldn't have thought to try. Just this morning, I had two people say that they should've ordered my flavor combination after hearing what it was (vanilla and cinnamon). Its nice to know that there's a local place where people can enjoy those unique experiences that I was privileged to for a while as a barista.

Seating: There's TONNES. And once you think there might not be enough, you end up finding more. The outdoor section(s) could house an entire post-fellowship Church crowd, the dog area has a surprisingly good amount of space, and the indoor area(s), even when busy, have always had enough seating. The upstairs nook/study exudes levels of cozy that I haven't found at a shop ever.

Snacks: There's a very fine line between drinks and snacks at a coffee shop. Too many snacks/food and you run the risk of straying out of shop territory and more into small restaurant/boutique. Once that happens, you can easily find yourself having to hire proper cooks and kitchen equipment, not to mention the litany of extra serv-safe measures you need to adhere to. And a lot of baristas will tell you that they secretly hate having to deal with food.

Atmosphere: Lazy Labrador is snuggled inside a historical building. What more can you ask for! The design inside immediately gives off an air of comfort and relaxation. The floor plan is laid out in such a way that going from ordering to sitting flows nice and smoothly. The bathrooms are clear cut. The lighting is crisp yet soft. And the music selection is always tasteful. You get the sense that you can spend hours here. I'm very much a grab-and-go person, but every time I step foot in Lazy Labrador, I wish I had brought my iPad with me.

Parking: Plenty of bays for staying a while, and the city lot across the road is a mere 25 yards away. I've never had a problem finding a place to park, which is not what I can say about the shops that I've worked for. It's a breath of fresh air to find a place with ample dedicated parking in this age of cramped city space.

Customer Care: Every time I stop by, the ladies behind the counter are cheerful and friendly, and I always find myself being engaged in conversation. That's a very rare and welcome thing, as it immediately makes me feel that they're invested in me as a customer even for the brief amount of time that I'm there. The owners, Susan and Bob, are clearly immensely invested in the success of their business, the delight of their customers and community, and the satisfaction of their employees.

If you've made it this far, let me just say this: Lazy Labrador truly is that "one in ten thousand" coffee shop. I absolutely love making my trip there every morning, and hope that if you're a resident or just driving through, that you'll treat yourself to the exceptional experience that is Lazy Labrador!

New and so cute. They can get busy but it is well worth the wait. All the worker are so nice and honestly have suggested some of my favorite drinks. And it doesn't hurt that there is finally a coffee shop in Kennesaw that is open on Sundays.

Such a cute and quaint coffee shop. My chai latte was very delicious (far superior to national chains)!! The two women working there were extremely friendly and great at suggesting adding other ingredients to maximize the flavor experience. Will definitely be back!!!

Finally, an independent coffee shop in Kennesaw. Coffee was great, staff is friendly, and the decor is lovely. The place is very spacious, with an upstairs loft and ample outdoor seating. We met Kirby the Labrador, the face of the brand, he's awesome! I am looking forward to our next visit.

We have have been waiting for a while and very excited to enjoy a coffee house close by.

Unfortunately our cappuccino and latte drinks only tasted like warm milk (close to no taste of espresso).

The service we received was very cold and created an atmosphere of wanting us out of there.

It has also been very difficult to visit as their hours don't allow for a visit outside an 8-5 schedule.

Kennesaw has been in need of a good quality local coffee house, and Bob gave us that with the lazy Labrador. I got the privilege of getting a tour of the place from Bob before he opened, and I have to say he did a great job on the remodel. He also took time to seek out the best coffee. After they opened I was able to taste it and I have to admit it is a very smooth tasting coffee. I am pleased and will be a regular.

If you are looking for a high quality coffee definitely this is a winner. As a
Colombian and coffee lover this coffee has great aroma and taste! Try it!
