Antoinette's Cafe

Stopped by when I was in the area for a gluten free dairy free plant-based meal (not easy to find). My chickpea toona sandwich on gluten free bread with avocado added, chips, pickle and medium banana juice only cost $13. That's a steal. Tasted good, too. The banana juice really hit the spot. I embarrassed myself by licking up a bit of toona that fell to my plate before I realized what I was doing.

How did I not know of this before! I was a vegetarian for four years and now I’m vegan, and so many places just don’t have any options besides salad! Love this! The only thing I’d add is a breakfast sandwich with “Just Egg”!

We are in town visiting family, and won’t be back because of our short visit. Locals! Y’all need to eat here! It’s so good!

My husband and I got the Green Thumb smoothie and the Lunchbox smoothie— and both are delicious! Green thumb is tart and perfect combo of flavors, the Lunchbox was filling.

Then I got the hot ham and Swiss croissant—we just got back from Europe and this croissant is the best I have had back in the states so far. So flakey and perfect.

My husband got the chickpeatoona sandwich—another homerun. Flavor combination was refreshing, and he is full. I had a bite and enjoyed it too.

The staff was friendly and everything was quickly served. Even the restrooms were clean. Seriously, such a perfect little cafe.

This is my go-to place for lunch everyday. LOVE this place! Everything from the salads, sandwiches, smoothies, desserts are delicious. I am always greeted with a smile and the place is warm and inviting. I always recommend this place to new people in the area.

I love that they have vegan options, and are expanding their vegan menu. I'm actually not a big coffee fan but tried a salted caramel macchiato it was delicious. They use special local coffee. And on top of that the owner is nice and helpful when it comes to menu choices

Nothing but high praises here! I got the Greek salad with a scoop of chicken salad on it and it was amazing! One of the best chicken salads I've had and the Greek vinaigrette is to die for (sounds basic but I think they put honey or something in it because YUM!!!). I also had one of their fresh sqeezed juices and they tasted so wholesome and delicious. The Cafe is super quaint, and I'm looking forward to trying one of their coffees and pastries! Don't miss out on this little buford jem!

The manager was horrible! ..

I went in yesterday, (first time there) asked for a avocado toast not knowing it came with salt. I said to the lady that took my order. I’m sorry, but I didn’t know it comes with salt, I can’t eat salt. It’s a food allergy. She apologize, and took it to the cook. (Which turned out to be the manager) he brings it back to to me, tells me to scrap it off with the plastic butter knife he tried to hand me. My aunt intervened, and said no sir! we would like another one. He then proceed to argue with us. We told him we would just like a refund for the toast, he gave it back after arguing for 10sec. But yet came in my space when I started to record him, and tried to take my drink out my hand as if he gave a Refund for that. (Which he didn’t) nor did we ask for one for that. I don’t recommend anyone going here because he was very unprofessional over some toast

First experience at this place was so great. Nice and cozy, plus the coffee and vegan pumpkin scone was amazing! Employees were very kind. Will definitely be returning soon!

This place is the cutest. I'm in town for a workshop and looked this place up. Ordered a large americano for here and the cup is adequately large and very homey. Warm, friendly feel. They have healthy beverage options, juices from scratch! Please come check this place out.
