It's probably a good place but the doors were locked because there was only 1 person working. The clerk was taking people's orders through a little window then running around the store to get everything. There was a long line outside the store waiting for service. The poor clerk messed up someone's credit card and the manager came, fixed it, and left that poor girl there to continue working alone. You would think she would have stayed to help her but she left her alone. I think it was a very unsafe situation and position to be left in.
Young man working behind the counter, badge said shift manager, greeted each customer as they entered the store. He was working on 2 cash registers to checkout customers so their weren't long waits. He was courteous and friendly! I don't normally write a review but thought he deserved a little praise!!
Not fire safety compliant - one door doesn’t work and the other is pull which is not how the doors need to work. Machines come back with decline even though my card wasn’t declined - they just will not put a sign on faulty machines.
Lobby closed for no apparent reason at 7:20 pm. Only servicing through window which means I won't be able to get what I wanted. Unfortunately lately the RaceTrac stations I've used in Brunswick and Kingsland have completely nosedived in terms of customer service and product. And to close your lobby at 7:30 a Thursday night for no apparent reason should be inexcusable. I get that the average person working behind the counter probably doesn't give a damn whether or not they lose business but at some point RaceTrac may want to re-evaluate the people they have in positions of management
I generally stop here on my commutes to Jacksonville or Savannah for gas, as it is conveniently located. I am friendly with a lot of the associates, but there is a new associate that works nights who is openly aggressive and hostile towards me. I reported this to the manager, who knew exactly to whom I was referring without any knowledge other than the shift, and implied multiple issues had occurred -- the obvious solution here would be to tell a person who cannot be kind to customers that customer service isn't a position for them.

Gas pump nozzle was leaking gas and not pumping. Line for register was nearly out the door (per usual).
