Great coffee, lots of different drink options, and staff is always friendly and helpful. A great place to relax and read. I also love that they are dog-friendly!

This is really interesting coffee; I've never had anything like it! Today was my second visit and I've gotten barrel roasted coffees both times. The first time a light roast was available, and I really enjoyed the peanut butter aroma and whiskey aftertaste even though light roasts aren't my favorites. Today's medium roast is amazing: some of the best coffee I've ever had! I think it will probably be my favorite, but I'll be back to try the dark roast just to make sure ;)

I had the barrel-aged Nutella latte. It was phenomenal. The barrel aging gives it a very unique taste.

I was on a rural road trip through Georgia and stumbled upon Ball Ground and this amazing little coffee shop. In addition to the friendly employees, the coffee roast is spectacularly unique.
Nice clean facilities and great presentation. I would definitely visit Barrel House Coffee again when passing through north Georgia.
Make sure you try their flavorful bourbon barrel roast.

Awesome place. The atmosphere is just so comfortable and all of the staff are very welcoming. They have an incredible variety of coffees, lattes, mochas, teas, and there are also small pastries you can have to pair with your drink. You can get all your coffee based drinks barrel-aged or non-barrel-aged. There is a barrel room in the back where you can see how they age the coffee beans. Please go support these wonderful people and their small business because you won't regret it.

Just moved to the area, after today we will be making stops weekly. My wife and I had the iced vanilla latte with coconut milk and it was fantastic. Extremely high quality coffee and it’s not over priced!
The barista was incredibly nice and the owner even stopped for a second to answer a bourbon question.
Next time I’ll have to ask about cigars!

Awsome place!! Great coffee!! Veteran owned🇺🇸The barrel age is more for individuals that like the taste of whiskey. Aged in whiskey barrels so It kinda takes on a bit of the flavor. They offer non barrel age and other exotic coffee like Sumatra and Guatemala blends. Overall great atmosphere, great coffee, great baristas

I don’t write reviews even to places I visit frequently, but I am compelled to write a review for this place as I was motivated primarily because someone wrote a great review of of the Barrel House and I felt motivated to to stop in. I have to say that I’m so glad I stopped in. The staff was great, greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. They offered me a taste of their bourbon barrel roast and it’s the best tasting coffee I’ve ever tasted.
I would definitely visit this place again, but not alone next time as I’ll like to share this nice spot with my friends and family for sure.

Been all over the world and this is probably my favorite coffee joint, certainly with a unique product.

My wife and I try out all of the local brew shops (staying away from S-bucks). They have a great location smack in the middle of downtown Ballground, the place is super clean and nicely laid out as well.
I had the “Barrel aged” Redeye which is espresso and brewed coffee (with a splash of cream). I hate to say it but it was probably the worse cup of coffee I’ve ever had. It was so bad that by the time I walked half of the city (it’s not big) I had to throw it away.
I kept drinking it trying to figure out what tasted so bad. Thinking maybe it’s the espresso, in the end I figured out it was the “Barrel aged” part that gave the cup such an off putting taste.
Maybe the regular coffee is better, I don’t know. But I would suggest you steer clear of the barrel aged product.
