Just not what it was once. Oh well. Its hard to be in the vanguard and stay there. So it's a little grungy and some people mistake that for hip, edgy. It's not. Just stinky! Very Little 5 Points. Stick to hot coffee drinks. Steer clear of anything from an unsterile ice machine AND the Arden's Gardens juices and smoothies: unpasteurized and stored in light so bacteria likely to be high and nutrients low.

The coffee selection is good and the brewers are great and helpful. I go out of my way to get a great espresso and pastry, then sit on the deck to enjoy and relax with the friendly clientele.

Fantastic little coffee shop - very homey and friendly staff - feels like family run - table seating and a cool little bar area. Amazing lattes and americanos - made super professionally and super tasty.

Coffee and vibes are both on point! I work in the L5p area and aurora is my go-to spot. never disappoints, great implementation of social distancing guidelines as well :)

Aurora is great! The atmosphere is fun and inviting and the service is quick and friendly. I've tried Americanos at coffee shops all over Atlanta, and this is one of my favorites.

Good Vibes comfy sitting retro hipster environment. Really good matcha. For the chocolate and the Bears they have a special chocolate flavored coffee bar menu.

Mid 2021 And they’re still only doing to-go. No bathroom, reduced hours, mask required even for vaxxed customers. Go to Starbucks instead, this place is still trying to prove how “covid-woke” they are.

It was quick and easy and my drink was right. That's really all I require, to some degree or another, of a coffee shop.
I wanted to do ATLien type stuff, so I decided coffee and whatever in Lil-5-Pnts was a good start. This joint offers that vibe. From the decor to the pleasantly surly nature of the baristas and regular patrons, the hipster-before-hipster-was-cool homage to counter-culture is on point.

Love Aurora! It’s local, great customer service and good coffee (brewed and whole beans). I’ve been going for years!

I'm onto these guys!!!
So, there I was, just an unsuspecting businessman, in search of some quality espresso in East Atlanta, when I happened upon the Aurora shop. When I got my Americano, it looked great, with the almond-colored foam that's the hallmark of a skilled espresso draw - but then I tasted it, and that changed everything.
Quite simply, it was the best coffee I've ever had - rich and fruity and nutty all at once, and with a unique character that beggars the written word. Nay, not your simple, everyday joe, but a nectar, a forbidden-fruit coffee, a brew unfit for mere mortals such as I. I drank it with a sense of blissful unbelief, and a growing suspicion of foul play.
They're putting something extra in this "coffee," something too good to be legal, at this Aurora joint. Be aware (and enticed ...?).
(Yes, I'm kidding. Aurora is just a good, homey shop in the Little 5 Points cloister, with some exceptionally good coffee and equally good folks, all of which I am thankful for.)
