Number one fancier date night spot. Consistently amazing every single time. Insanely good food, awesome service with really kind people!

Cozy and hip Italian eatery featuring a focused menu of high quality entrees. Great wine selection and cocktail menu as well. Suggest the octopus starter, Bucatini pasta, and a side of cauliflower. The ravioli is a nice Italian/Southern "fusion" dish.

The cocktails were excellent. My mom had the velveteen queen, and I had the a mano (pictured below). For appetizers we had the burrata, which was creamy and delicious on warm, crusty sourdough, and the insalata di polpo, which had the perfect smoky flavor and meaty texture that is so hard to achieve with octopus. For mains, she had the cacio e pepe and i had the carbonara. The carbonara was so dang good: the lardons were smoky and flavorful and it came with an egg yolk in the middle of the pasta for you to break and coat the tagliatelle with at the table. I don't think I'll ever be able to order it anywhere else. All in all, fabulous.

Enjoyed their pasta and the porchetta. The staff was also super friendly and attentive (sometimes a bit too attentive... we noticed our waitress snatched our plates away before we were really finished with them). An ideal date place if you're looking for one in this neighborhood.

Absolutely fantastic experience at a mano! Great food, great mocktails, fantastic service - I'll be dreaming about this for a long time. ❤️

Beautiful enviroment! The food and cocktails were delicious as well, but a little pricey for the quality. You pay for the atmosphere more than the food

Popped in for lunch on a whim and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quaint and earthy a mano! Having a dedicated lunch menu made it easy for me to find a meal quickly since I was limited on time and the service staff was especially attentive to my questions. The salad was so fresh and not convoluted at all, it’s clear they take their ingredients seriously! Will return for the Snickerdoodle cookie for sure but must test drive the dinner menu before since I’m told it’s got all kinds of hidden gems as well! As the name suggests I can see there are loving hands at every level of this restaurant!

We really appreciated the attentiveness of all the staff, especially Bethany and her trainee (sorry, forgot their name!), our servers. Food and wine were delicious and the ambiance super cozy. Perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you!

Always excellent service. Food is delicious! Celebrated my birthday there, and the staff give me a hand written birthday card. Definitely our go- to Italian restaurant!!

First, I read positive reviews, but after going to an Mano and looking to write a review I realized the majority of these reviews are years old. What a disappointment and evening of rudeness. It was a bad sign when we were parking (w/i 2 mins of our reservation)and they asked if we were still coming when we had already confirmed and they had no parking. We had to circle blocks to find a place on the street and then walk in the rain. When we told them we were parking they said, “We’ll, if it’s 15 minutes we’ll have to put you on the waitlist.” Very rude as we said we were here and they have no parking or valet. We get in and there are plenty of available tables, by the way. No one waits on us. It is extremely loud. Very casual. Our feeling was that this is a mistake, but maybe they’ll surprise us. Someone comes over and says how is everything?! Well getting waited on might help. Eventually a waitress comes to take our order. The menu was brief. Pastas were considered a first (I think 5 choices) and the seconds were (5) basics. We’re like we aren’t eating a pasta and another meal. We decide to keep it simple and just get out of here. One pasta and I chose chicken Parmesan. The waitress asks if I want to order pasta to go with that? It would just be a piece of chicken alone on a plate? Yes. So, I change to a pasta. Pastas come, small portions for the price. No offer of grated Parmesan, bread, nothing. One pasta was very bland and the other tasted familiar, not special. Meanwhile, it’s extremely loud and the whole time it’s as if we don’t have a waitress but rather a bunch of helpers offering nothing but the occasional water refill. Here we sit with this one simple plate. Nothing to compliment either. We eat. We wait and wait (the helpers have removed our plates). They eventually ask if we want to see a dessert menu (ignoring that they made a big deal to let us know that they were telling the waitress it was my guests birthday). No offer or even a mention of her birthday. I just said check please. Then it gets more rude. The check comes and there is a 2% healthcare charge on the bill. Whether you agree with it or not, I had never seen this. I nicely asked what it was. The waitress began giving me a dissertation trying to justify it asserting that rather than the owner increasing our meal costs an additional $4 or $5, the cost of food has been rising so much, etc. they were just charging this. This made no sense for several reasons. First $10 more for our two meals far outweighs the 2% and it says healthcare. I tell her it doesn’t sit right that if he’s a business owner and needs to raise his prices he should and I should know what I’m paying. Then she mentions it helps with their healthcare. I asked who decides who pays this. She said her owner. Here’s the bigger problem than the fact that they do not provide the food or condiments you expect in an Italian restaurant. She was condescending and rude about the 2%, they were rude about our reservation, the service was lousy, parking on the street blocks away in the rain without any consideration is rude, it’s extremely loud, and overall a disappointment. I’m a generous person. Helping another person isn’t a problem. This issue is bringing me a bill with an undisclosed charge and trying to belittle me as if I have no right to ask and you make demands when I came to bring you business? Simple kindness and treating us like you value our business probably would have offset some of the menu issues but you don’t have that on your menu either. You gave me no reason to return or recommend you. I have never been spoken to so badly by anyone I do business with.
