A literal tucked away, unsuspecting brunch oasis, The Alchemist Cafe is by far one of my favorite experiences. The chill eclectic vibes, the attention to details (ice coffee cubes), the flavor profiles of everything on the menu (the focaccias, any of them, are my favorite by far), the awesome staff and so much more all make this spot a must try! Don’t forget to grab a cookie to go and be prepared to make plans to come back.

There is something unique about this spot. Nestled in an artsy eclectic area with wall murals, and other creative art is the Alchemist. Parking can be a big challenge so plan ahead. It is mostly an outside venue with tables and the set up is to order and they bring the food to you.

Alchemist is best know for its slicers, which translates into an open face sandwich. I had the tuna which included a huge chunk of tuna nicely seasoned with celery salt and some olives. It was delicious. They also have personal pizzas which look tasty. If you just want coffee you will find that there as well as originally it was focused on coffee.

The entire experience is quirky but very tasty. It is worth a visit. Five stars for being something different and succeeding.

Loved it! Great food, we had the lox slicer and a simple breakfast sandwich on English muffin. Iced coffee was good, the coffee cubes were a nice touch. Ample parking out front or to the side/ behind building. Friendly service, distanced tables. Outside area is nice, shaded, some covered. Lots of plants all over and funky touches throughout to look at while studying, reading, etc. It’s sort of connected to other outside shops where you can walk through and see lots of plants and art.

Super yummy food. Better than I expected. If I Lived closer I would defiantly come more often! When I’m Willow Manor worth a try and the vibe is phenomenal!

Loved this space! It felt like a place for locals that also adores visitors & tourists. The space was lovely to catch a break from the sweltering heat.

From the cute spaces to sit to the coffee to the art at the far end of the area… it was just wonderful.

Head to The Alchemist for brunch. I assure you won't regret it! I went Sunday morning and ordered The Chef's Breakfast (recommended by the staff). The dish's description sounded good, but it was more delicious than I was expecting. All the staff members I interacted with were friendly and social, the restaurant was clean and food was reasonably priced.

I visited in January 2021. I saw a staff member arrive and immediately another grabbed a thermometer and took her temperature. Many of us are burnt out from coronavirus, but I was glad to witness this.

I look forward to returning and trying more menu items.

I frequently visit this oasis hidden in the heart for fort lauderdale. Best coffee hands down(in my opinion of course) and food is great as well. I love The Alchemist Cafe!

This place is super cute with a lot of outdoor seating. There is actually 3 restaurants located here. In the back there is alot of graffiti art and murals, which is really cool to check out. The Nutella hot chocolate was really good, just the right amount of whip cream, and the chocolate chip waffle was made just right.

Came here Sunday afternoon. Seems like it's always busy for brunch as there was a line to order. Chill vibes with lots of outdoor seating.

Chef Breakfast - Must order. Filling and delicious. The tater tot waffle is a great base for this breakfast masterpiece.

Cold Coffee - They're like famous for their cold coffee so if you're there you have to try it. It comes in a cool Mason Jar mug and does taste great. It's pretty sweet so if you're not into that maybe they can alter it.

A must for a quick brunch!

Coffee is insanely well done and the food is tasty as hell. If it's not a million degrees outside, it's is among the best places in Ft Lauderdale to grab a coffee and hang outside.
