Incredible spot and I absolutely adore the owner! This is my little secret study place now. The owner was extremely kind and everything I tried today was beyond tasty! This little nook is super clean, too! The entire place smells absolutely wonderful and there's lovely music playing gently the entire day. I can not recommend enough!!! ♡♡♡ thank you so much for a wonderful study day!!!

This place is amazing! Tried the cookies and a pumpkin whoopee, they were great. Also got the coconut mocha iced coffee and it was fantastic! The service was just as amazing. Can't wait to go back, big chains just lost my coffee business. Thank you Black Cat coffee!!

I had a decaf coconut mocha and it was absolutely delightful—the perfect balance of flavors. It’s always a toss-up on whether I will be able to find somewhere with decaf espresso options, but Mindy and her staff were so accommodating to me. Highly, highly recommend to anyone in the area. Excellent product and service!

Fun place to visit, friendly service. Bought a few bags of coffee and staff ground beans for us. Really pretty good coffee from first bag. Will repost when I enjoy more

Driving towards Jacksonville and I am so happy to have found this coffee shop with an amazing staff right off the I-95 freeway.

I am beyond impressed with the standards that they hold with the coffee they sell (by the cup, whole bean, and ground) and the equipment they use to roast and brew.

Try to find another coffee shop that puts so much natural and organic love into their coffee, pastries and all the other stuff they sell.

Very reasonably priced too!

Great independent coffee shop. I had a great americano and I liked it so much I went back in and bought a pound of beans. The owner is very friendly. I wish I lived closer and I could come here more.

Hands down the best coffee place I've ever been. The owner and employees are the best!! Don't think about it, just stop here once and you'll be hooked.

super good coffee, and they always have a bunch of new flavors to try. also really good bakery items!! the staff is really friendly and always makes you feel welcomed.

I will say this place is extremely cute, but in my mind that's where the positives for this café begin and end.

The start of my issues began when I walked in and overheard three unmasked customers discussing their recent (within the last few weeks) Covid diagnosis. I kept as much distance as I could, but I would have preferred if they had been asked to mask up or step outside, given that they were likely still in the transmissible period of their infections.

The biggest issue with my visit was the 35 minute wait while they made the drinks for the three people ahead of me. While they may have only the one barista, I feel like 35 minutes to prepare two iced coffees and a hot chocolate is excessive nonetheless.

The coffee itself was extremely disappointing, I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte and an Iced vanilla latte, the "pumpkin spice" was 98% cinnamon, and blended poorly with the sour and stale espresso. While the vanilla in the other latte was clearly high quality, it's flavor is diminished by the once again sour and stale espresso.

It's a shame, because the owners and barista were both incredibly kind, friendly, and pleasant to talk to. I'd heard good things about this café, but I was disappointed with my personal experience.

A hidden gem at an unexpected location. (The road is a well traveled cut off bypassing the 50 and 405 intersection.) A nice variety of coffee drinks to go or you can sit at the shaded tables outside. Also coffee by the bag, cups, etc.
