The Standard CLCL -- Brownwood Coffee Shop

We found the Standard on the first day of our two week vacation and went there every morning. Wow! The chai is amazing (what my wife said) and my mocha blender was excellent. Thank you “Standard” team for your awesome service. You made our stay even better!

This place is that local coffee shop with the the best coffee around. The blended coffee beats Starbucks any day, seasonal specials, and a small variety of snacks. They are located between the hospital and the hotel, follow the covered walkway. A quiet place to get some school or work done.

Usually very good better than normal coffee. But today was off for a chai and a latte. Both had no flavor other than steamed milk. Will return as has been excellent on numerous past visits.

Always a happy and cheerful staff with great coffee and service. What a great experience to start my mornings.

My latte tasted very strange, the girls were very nice when I brought it back up to the counter for them to remake my drink but when it still didn’t taste right I wasn’t offered a refund, just offered my old drink to take with me. The girls were nice enough but when a customer comes up saying that something is really not right with the taste of one of their ingredients (like a gone bad taste) more should be done to make it right.

Delicious drinks, amazing service. Barista named summer was very kind and made me a wonderful drink.

A real gem of a coffee shop located inside the medical building. I would go just for the drinks. Absolutely incredible!

Great Coffee !! The best I have had . The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. The owner Matt & his wife are always a pleasure to talk to. They go out of there way to make your experience & your coffee the best it can be. Don’t miss out on the best coffee.

This morning was my first time going to Standard coffe shop at Brownwood and it was fantastic. I was able to get a delicious frozen coffee that reminded me of coffee from home at Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. And the outside seating is phenomenal! I can't wait to go back!
