Beautiful garden to enjoy eating a key lime pastry...pie, cookie or frozen pie on a stick.

The key lime pie wasn’t the best we’ve had, but the Love Garden was worth the visit. Definitely stop here.

Super friendly staff that explained the different varieties of pie. I got the Chocolate Drizzle with Whipped Cream...so, so good. Sat out in the very relaxing garden area behind the store. They also have other key lime flavored treats too.

The pie is good here. It’s our second time stopping by over the past few years. This time we had our two young kids with us.
The first thing we noticed is all of the passive aggressive signage for various things. No pets allowed. Fine. Pretty normal policy for an eating establishment. But “do not try to pass off your pet as a service animal. You ruin it for everyone else!..” and “DO NOT EAT HERE! This is a coffee bar!” And “NO CASH! We have the right to set our own payment policy..blah blah blah..” and “You are entering a quiet zone!!” On a giant sign before you enter the outdoor area. The girl that rang us up was sure to tell us (quite rudely) that the outdoor are was “a lovely garden, NOT a play area.” We had no intentions of letting our kids run feral outside. The comment was just super off-putting and unwelcoming.
What business in a vacation destination bans children? Insane.
The pie is fine, but for a better experience go literally anywhere else. Much better places in the Keys.

Love this little hideaway place on the way to the keys. The pie was delicious and the cute photo oppurtunity was cute!

We all stopped to grab a slice to finish our ride out of the keys. I had a couple bites and it was so sweet and had the oddest texture I couldn’t eat it. A few minutes later, everyone else in the car was trying to give theirs away. No one could eat it. We had key lime pie everyday for the past week from Key West all the way to here and were really looking forward to trying this one, expecting it to be the best. Sadly, it was a waste of time and money.
On a side note, after reading all the one star reviews, I was fully expecting the Trunchbull. I will say, I felt like my children were perfectly welcomed there and they were in love with the beautiful garden.

The famous key lime pie, frozen Pie on a Stick and Key Lime Cookies were pretty good.

We were so excited to visit again but incredibly disappointed to not have interacted with the cats or chickens! Where did they go?! Please bring them back! That's the best part for the kiddos! Especially when mine doesn't like key lime pie! I eat the pie and she hangs out and runs around entertained by the animals ... Not this year! Oh well. The heart lock is a fun gimmick and the serene music and searing areas and wifi are nice. The trees create a shaded area to chill and relax. Please bring back the animals for next year!

Best key lime pie I've ever had.

The best key lime pie anywhere! I have done a key lime pie taste test from just about every place that sells it between homestead and Key West, and the Blond Giraffe is the best, hands down. I always make it a stop (or three) when I visit the Keys.
