Picked up some food for clients. One of the bowls was done incorrectly. I noticed and they fixed it right away with no problems. Everyone inside was super nice and we had a wonderful chat while I waited for my correction. Wonderful staff!

I used to mourn the loss of our Starbucks location inside Westpark Village. That is, until Blind Tiger entered the scene. It's just plain better than Bux. No disrespect to the old occupant but Blind Tiger is next level in comparison. Try it for yourself and you'll see what everyone is talking about.

Had an oatmilk latte and a GF blueberry muffin with a cinnamon top. Everything tasted really pretty good. Coffee was on the stronger side. Sadly something really disagreed with me for the remainder of the day.

I purchased a double shot latte and it was so weak all I could taste was milk. When I asked for an extra shot, we were charged additional cost and it still tasted like warm milk. We were charged $18 for 2 coffees with the additional shots. The staff were unprofessional and unkind in their interactions. Don’t recommend. Stick to Starbucks.

Mediocre menu and high prices - would not recommend!
I paid $12 +tip for an acai bowl served in a cheap takeout container, that had frozen fruit which had no flavor & hurt my teeth. You'd hope that when someone chooses to dine in and pays a decent price, they get a clean dining surface, and substantial dining ware.

That's too much to expect at the Westchase location where I had to clean off the table and set my bags on a dirty floor. All their bowls are served in disposable plastic containers with cheap plastic spoons. The service is average at best as well.

I called the Westchase location 4 times to try and place a to go order. I got hung up on 3 times and on the 4th time they answered and didn’t say anything - I had to be the one to speak before they hung up again - and then the person on the line told me that they don’t take orders over the phone and asked me to order online. They sounded flustered (probably wasn’t expecting to get called back after they hung up on me). They also didn’t introduce themselves or say the store name at all. Good food and coffee (highly recommend the breakfast tacos) but not great customer service.

Just be aware, as of 11/5/2022, the menu on the website for this location wrong and the current menu is much more limited. We probably wouldn't have gone here for breakfast if we saw the actual menu beforehand. The staff was apologetic about the menu, it was just annoying since we already knew what we wanted based on what we saw before arriving.

We got food anyway and it was good, if slightly overpriced. We would go back for lunch or just coffee.

So glad that The Blind Tiger opened up in Westchase! Service is top notch! The coffee and other specialty drinks are delicious; and the food is excellent! I'm a regular and plan on staying that way!

This place used to be better. Recently they "revamped" the food menu to include less fresh ingredients and no more eggs on the avocado toast. The other thing is the ambiance is weird and un-inviting especially to sit inside. They also have the strangest smell when you walk in like it's either really strong cleaning chemicals or those fake febreze things. I really hope they change the vibe up again and let the place smell like coffee and not febreze. Updated as management refuses to address complaints and doesn’t care. Hope they go out of business so we can get a better coffee shop here.

AVOID - spend money at businesses who care about you as their patron. The service was non-existent—literally. I think maybe twice in my life I’ve taken the time to write a poor review, yet I felt compelled to do so in this case. I wrote management a detailed message describing my experience and they cared so much about their customers and their business they didn’t even bother replying. It shows that the culture starts at the top.

My experience: When I walked in to the empty shop, two male baristas were having a conversation and said nothing to me. Not even a nod in my direction. I hadn’t been here before so I was reading the menu when another customer entered—once again, no greeting. The person asked what the difference was between the cold brew and the nitro cold brew, and the barista said flatly and annoyed, “the taste.” When the person ordered, one started making their drink, and the other stood looking around except for in my direction. The customer took their drink and left, and the baristas proceeded to mock the question and make fun of the patron right in front of me. Clearly, I was invisible or someone who was of no importance. I ordered an ice coffee. Just said “one iced coffee.” They entered my order, charged me, made my drink and gave it to me all without saying a single damn word to me. Not one word. Here’s the best part: I asked for a straw and received my first and only acknowledgment with a surly, “we don’t do straws.”

You don’t “do” straws, Blind Tiger? You serve your food and drinks in non-recyclable PLASTIC cups. But sure, straws are where you draw the line. Straws and service, clearly. There are so many wonderful coffee shops in Tampa to support when you buy a $5+ cup of brewed coffee, and THIS AIN’T IT.
