There is this cute little coffee shop on Gunn Hwy that my husband and I have been going to lately. It's called Sips. If you drive Gunn Hwy you might have noticed it but it's small and in a plaza so you may fly past it. It's in the same plaza that Marco's Pizza Shop and Super Walmart are located. I've lived here in Carrollwood for 3 years and I've just now started going there only because I've never really noticed it. Well you guys know me and I'm all about the SMALL GEMS 💎 of Tampa. Well this is Definitely one of them. Sips is a gourmet coffee shop that has made to order specialty coffee, drinks, beverages and desserts, they offer a multitude of flavors and unique options 😋. My favorite is the Sips Latte (hot)... My husband loves their French Vanilla Latte with Almond Milk(hot), and of course we both get whip cream 😄. My second go to, is their Frozen French Vanilla Latte with Whip Cream... I like to have that when I'm in the mood for a sort of an ice cream treat. Next time your in the Carrollwood area you should Definitely slow down and stop by this little Cafe and best of all they have a drive-thru!!!!

Best coffee shop in tampa hands down. Love supporting local spots as well and their unique flavors are soooo good! They have plenty of seasonal drinks as well!

The staff was very welcoming!

My partner and I had to leave back to go to the east coast so this was a nice sweet coffee treat I received!

The flavor was her favorite, white chocolate and salted Carmel, it was very tasty 😋

Coffee drinks are great, but the interior is sadly uninspired. Stick to the drive-thru window. The servers are excellent and knowledgeable and the best thing about this place.

I wanted to love this place because of the reviews and supporting small businesses but definitely disappointed. Went in ordering a caramel latte (to my understanding I thought was used with expresso) but was used with cold brew. Substitute with oat milk which was planet oat milk…. Basically could have got this same drink at Dunkin for a larger size and half the price. Drink was sweet & coffee doesn’t stand out. Feels like I’m drinking caramel oat milk. I don’t think i would come back. Would choose the Blind Tiger cafe over Sips. Heck, I’d probably even pick Starbucks for this cost and a full cup of ice in the end.

Cozy place with the best coffee in town, look at the menu they have: coffee coffee and more coffee, this place is for coffee lovers 😉☕I would like to combine coffee with some salty delicatessens,( not only bagels) they do have muffins and brownies. There's a drive through, tho.

Update (since changing ownership): Coffee is still delicious; however, they will no longer have all the homemade pastries :( same staff which makes me keep coming back - loves those girls, especially Riley!

Love this place! Now I see they are expanding the shop larger. Always good coffee, I usually get the sugar free frozen caramel - but everything I've ordered here is really good.

In from out of town and went out of our way to come here based on the amazing reviews.

Got two drinks and both were so sweet that they weren’t even drinkable. Went to ask to have it topped off with black coffee to hopefully help the drink. That couldn’t be done and instead one shot of espresso was added (if it was even that, as he took my cup for 10 seconds and brought it back). Still horribly sweet. On top of that, and much worse, we paid and asked for oat milk to be used. We tasted it and anyone who drinks
Alternative milks will know if it’s real cream or not. The few sips we had we noticed seemed creamy. When we brought it back to add coffee we also confirmed it was made with oat milk as we are lactose intolerant and will get extremely sick otherwise… they said yes, I will tell you right now, the level of sickness we got soon after tells us they lied and it was 100% not oat milk. Unfortunately had to throw out $12 of coffees because there was no way of consuming them and ended up sick on our day exploring a new town. HIGHLY recommend you go to any other coffee shop.

This place used to have great coffee, now it’s under new management. The coffee doesn’t taste as good it was, it has a sour taste. The coffee cake doesn’t taste good like the one they had before.
