Ginger Beard Coffee

In Tampa for a few days so did the traditional 1st morning search for great espresso. Ginger Beard was my 5th stop - 4 coffee shops and 1 breakfast restaurant. Search is officially over. Hands down best of the highly rated coffee shops in downtown area. Really not close. Didn't like Kahwa's coffee. Spaddy's was good. Caffeine also decent. But Ginger Beard rocks. Great coffee, super friendly proprietors AND an awesome draft beer list. Make this your first stop.

Great spot to stop for great beverages and company. Nice place to co-work, hang out with friends or just chill. Great seating options indoor and out.

Nitro tea and coffee options are always on point. Kombucha options available as well as grab and go snacks. If you arrive early enough there’s usually a nice selection of doughnuts from Datz.

Best nitro cold brew. The peanut butter flavor is out of this world!! Reminds me of “Meet Joe Black” where Brad Pitt kept getting spoonfuls of peanut butter 12/10 will go back again and again. The guys are great too

Good expresso and straight forward menu, the guys behind the counter (which from their ginger beards makes me assume they are the owners as well) are nice guys to boot. If you're simply looking for coffee and not some convoluted coffee-like drink this is a great option.

Favorite coffee place in the area. Cool atmosphere to bring a laptop and work or socialize. We come after runs and bring our dogs.

Best coffee in town! Derek and Josh are great and the cold brew coffee on nitro is a great way to start your morning. Also, the donuts pair very well with the hot coffee.

I love this coffee! I had a simple quad espresso I highly recommend. Stop in for killer coffee.

I go to this place at night which serves craft beer. The selection constantly rotates. The staff and owner knows my taste and just pours me a pint of what I like. Unbelievable personalized service. It's also a family-owned business with the family working there.
