This was my first time at Jeri’s, I treated myself for my birthday today. They have complimentary crackers and cheese and the Shrimp and Grits were so DELICIOUS! I chose the Pineapple Strawberry mimosa to drink which was also really good. My server’s name was Taylor and she was awesome and so sweet, and had me set. I was comfortable and the vibe and music is chill and friendly and I will definitely be coming back 💚💚

Day Date at Jeri's!
We stopped by Jeris Midtown Cafe for the first time today after being recommended many times....and I'm so happy we finally stopped in and tried Jeri's delicious little Café!
Jeri herself was there, talking with customers and helping out, which is always beautiful to see in any business. Sergio served us, and he was absolutely amazing! He was very kind, energetic, and made our experience wonderful. The food was hands down some of the BEST I've had in Tally so far! 5/5 Stars for their quality sandwiches - and they have the best grits I've ever had in my entire life, no exaggeration!
If you haven't been to Jeri's, definitely stop by and check them out. It's well worth it!

The food was really good 👍 😋. This was our first time eating here. We were in town for homecoming. The shrimp and grits were amazing. My friend got the French toast and loved it 😋. We'll definitely be coming back!

Tonight I got to eat at Jeri’s Midtown Cafe as part the Tallahassee Foodies #SecretDinner!
The “Secret Dinner” is meant to be a fun adventure. Tonight was an exceptional one! 😀
The “gloomy” weather those of us on the east side of Tallahassee received just enhanced the adventure!
GPS showed I had arrived, but I only saw the sign. Going down a one way alley led me to the entrance, a nice garden area where we were supposed to eat “weather permitting.” It didn’t!
But that only added to the enchantment! Going inside I had the kitchen to the left and their “Social Moment Starters” on the right. It consisted of many things but I became fixated on their strawberries and their pasta salad! I had chosen very well! The strawberries were just perfect! I could have had just the pasta salad for the rest of the night and been very happy!
Our first course of the evening consisted of “Jeri’s Wonder Salad!”
You know how I can tell when the salad is great? It is when I am uninterested in salad dressing!
The second course was “Collard Soup.” I could just hear a reoccurring comment about me and soup, “You are too young to like soup that much!”
The third course was “Smoked Gouda Grits & Shrimp.” I had to keep looking back at the menu to make sure I read that right. If you only ever experiment with just one dish, it has to be this! It is amazing!
The main course was “Roasted Filet & Mediterranean Fish!” The room went quiet with this! Talking wasn’t on anyone’s mind!
We finished with “Strawberry Blueberry Shortcake!” This was one of those “One is too many and a hundred not enough” type desserts!

really tasty !! i got the tab, their pressed turkey and brie sandwich, and my friend got the dude, their pressed steak and pesto sandwich. of the two, i preferred the tab, the turkey apple butter and brie combo was really delicious, but the dude was great too! for sides, we got the caprese salad and their hoppin john salad (my favorite of the two !! really fresh and light, went well w the sandwich being heavier). we went for lunch on sunday without calling ahead or anything and only had to wait like 15-20 minutes, and with midtown reader right above we had plenty of books to peruse to pass the time. also i liked the painting of a chihuahua they had on the wall, A+ decor. our server (brandon i think) was really nice and helpful, great service ! def will come back

First time eating here and it was great. Brandon was my server and he was on top of everything! It’s nice to see this place has regulars, that’s always a good sign.
I started off with an iced matcha and they serve complimentary pimento cheese and crackers. I had “The Tab” with a tomato bisque as the side. The tomato bisque was so good! I would put it up there with Bella Bella’s tomato bisque. It was that good! Turkey with apple butter was a nice spin and it paired well together. There is a reason that’s the most popular pick.
I never saw the inside because I had my pup with me and we sat out on the patio. This is a dog friendly space and the patio was so nice and quiet It was perfect for the four legged visitors.
Parking: you can enter the parking lot off of N Gadsden street or thomasville rd.

Fist time here. It's a little cozy spot to enjoy seated inside or outside. The food was delicious. Gouda grits with shrimp / French toast and a side of bacon.

I had a lovely lunch meeting friends here. I will
Definitely come back and recommend others. There was 15-20 minute wait and I sat outside. I never went in to look at the inside of this location. Service was great, no complaints. The sandwiches are about $14-16 dollars however lots of interesting sides. I had the capresse salad with my sandwich. The fruit also looked like it was a beautiful fresh selection not just grapes and gross melon. I highly recommend The Dude which was a sliced ribeye (I think) with some dipping sauce. I will definitely be back.

Amazing food and amazing service! I have yet to have brunch in Tallahassee where the presentation of champagne and juices for mimosas tops what Jeri’s does. It’s also a pretty good deal. We had the Kenny Benny and the Frittata. All three eggs on the Benny were poached perfectly and the biscuits they sat atop were delicious and somewhat sweet. A different take on Benny, but it was amazing. The Frittata itself was alright, but it was the sides that made the dish so good… the grits and apple butter were *chefs kiss* and the blueberry muffins were a nice sweet treat. And to top it all off, our server, Sergio was so friendly and attentive. Best service in Midtown! Will definitely be back to try one of the lunch sandwiches.
