Stopped in for lunch at this lovely little bistro. Nice plating and environment but even more so the arepa was the best I've ever eaten. And they had gluten free and dairy free options! They also gave us a complimentary tasting of the lasagna and it was phenomenal!!

We dine out frequently and enjoy trying new restaurants. We found Boccatta several weeks ago and have eaten there four times. The menu is limited but the food, which is a compilation of Spanish, Colombian and Argentinian cuisine, exceptional. My personal favorites are the arepa and the Cuban sandwich.

My wife says it has the best coffee in Sarasota and loves the pastries.

The restaurant itself is charming and the owners are warm and gracious.
