This charming coffee shop is located in the Park Plaza on Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. The Little Coffee Shoppe was opened by Venezuelan transplants Ronald and Dana Medina who came to the U.S. seven years ago. They opened their first coffee shop in Coral Springs where they were drawn to the family friendly community and the opportunity it provided to serve the community. Their success in Coral Springs has allowed them to expand to Pompano last year.
The coffee section of the menu includes craft coffee, frapps, espressos, and lattes made with beans from 360 F Coffee Roasters in Coral Springs. They also offer tea and power greens. The rest of the menu showcases their Latin heritage with arepas, empanadas, tequenos, cachapas, avocado toast, French toast, quesadillas, salads, and desserts.
I had previously been to the Coral Springs location. The inside of the Pompano location is very welcoming with tables and chairs and a cozy seating area. For my afternoon pick me up I ordered a chai tea and an almond croissant. The drink was exactly what I was craving and I appreciate that they took the time to warm up the croissant for me. It was fresh with the perfect amount of almond filling encased in buttery pastry. I love supporting small local businesses and based on the great service I experienced, I would pick recommend The Little Coffee Shop over that large chain coffee purveyor.

The little coffee shop is one of my favorite cafes in the area. The drinks are excellent and the staff is SO friendly and accommodating! ❤️🔥 BEST cold brew and coffee ice cubes!!!!!

Not too many different breakfast options in Pompano, but this is a welcome change to the typical coffee and breakfast sandwiches. To be honest, I did not order the coffee but the stuffed arepa hit the spot. Some people actually don't want eggs for breakfast but Rather a nice savory meal in the morning. Nailed it!

just did a google search and found this gem. the coffee definitely a step above. the quality of freshness and portions of the avocado toast and pastries were worth the forgetfulness of the barista that took our order or maybe i didn’t speak loud enough?

Got a cappuccino. It was delicious and look beautiful. Definitely a great spot for your instagram haha. It was quick and not too busy. There is a lot of seating and the drink did not come to me boiling. It’s priced very competitively IMO.

My husband and I enjoy having our cup of cappuccino while we do our laundry right next door! Decor is beautiful and the ambience is wonderful!

I love it. The cappuccino is really good !! 💕 I order an arepa de perico and my husband a quesadilla for breakfast and we love it. 100% recommended.

Refreshing old school coffee house feel with delicious “extras” to eat! The lemon ricotta pancakes are out of this world! Side note they are changing them to waffles, and I almost wish I would still be here to try them! Coffee is delicious and you can tell a lot of care is put into this place. Owners seem very happy and proud of their place and they should be!

We came from Switzerland to travel through the US and this place was our last stop. We were recommended this great place by our friend Kenny. They have amazing coffee and also cold brews. The food was delicious as well. We had an amazing Breakfast Croissant and a fresh Acai Bowl. Would travel back to the US just to stop by there again!
