A local breakfast and lunch spot. Expect fast friendly service and good food. It is "seat yourself" and you may have to wait a few minutes for a table at peak times, but table turnover is brisk and I've never waited long. Expect to hear friendly conversations as regulars greet each other, and to be able to hear your own conversation. Stacked BLT one of my favorites - good tomatoes, extra bacon.

Lovely staff!
Quick service.
Amazing Steak and eggs!
He got buiscuits and gravy, which is hard to come by where they don't cover it in pepper.
We plan to come back again and spread the word about this little shop.
Thanks for an amazing Saturday morning!

The great gals that work the floor are amazing!!! Service is A+++!! . Food is very good and fresh..I had lost a 500 dollar gold diamond eating in the restaurant 3 weeks ago and came in today with family for birthday BREAKFAST...and just pulled out the warring and asked did you happen to find this earring?? Debbie said yes!!!! I cried! What a birthday present!! What a good soul she is to have saved it.! Thank you..thank you thank you!

This place is special to me and my spouse. It's our breakfast date stop. The ladies are wonderful and the chocolate milk is the best!

Food was average at best. I had a biscuit and gravy and a side of corned beef hash. Gravy tasted like it was out of a packet and biscuit was just a frozen biscuit microwaved. Corned beef hash was ok. I went to pay my bill and was informed they add 50 cents to your bill to use a debit or credit card. I’m sorry but taking credit cards should be just a cost of doing business. Passing along this fee to the customer is ridiculous. I can understand a minimum charge to use a credit card, but not every transaction. I gave it two stars instead of one because the service was good. I will not be back though.

Hands down the absolute best breakfast diner in Florida ! The food is fresh, perfectly cooked and the establishment is clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and made you feel right at home. The prices are more than fair. I really cannot say enough! We were passing through, ran into some car trouble and spied this little gem from across the street. We had the bacon omlet, countryfried steak and eggs and a full order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are PERFECTLY made, like grandmas, but fluffier. We are not from anywhere near here but best believe next time we come through this town we will absolutely come eat at the Rivergate Coffee shop! Hats off to the staff and cooks ❤

Rivergate is our favorite breakfast place. I usually have the banana walnut pancakes. Today I branched out and ordered the farmers omelet. It was awesome. So big with hash browns and toast. The waitress brought me a box when she brought our plates! I needed it. My box was filled. Tomorrow's breakfast for sure.

simply put : The quintessential Florida diner. The favourite of many a ormond beach local, the Rivergate cafe has offered good company, kind staff, good food and a smile to my family for generations. What was once my mother's favourite pace to get coffee before attending seabreeze highschool in the 80s, now has also become my go-to-diner on many a morning. Rarely has any food or restaurant so consistently put a smile.

This is a family owned restaurant and they treat their customers like family as well. Most of us know each other on a first name basis so it feels like a family. And the food is really good, good sized portions, you never leave hungry

The ladies here keep it real & delicious. I've never been there that the service, food & prices weren't great. They're the best team going at keeping your drinks refilled, seeing how you're doing & making you feel at home. I'm a Southern girl & that's high praise!
