The coffee was horrible but the food was great.

We went for the Farmers Market but we did go inside and I fell in love with the decor and atmosphere.

Amazing everything! Always our first stop in Orlando

Stardust is a great place to unwind at anytime of day. I go there at least once a week just to work from there. In the morning, they have tasty breakfast options and great coffees and tea, but when 5 o'clock rolls around, you can check out their full bar! They also host events, local art. And a farmers market on Monday so if you wanna enjoy a hidden gem of orlando check out stardust.

Always a fun place to sit and read! Great coffee and atmosphere!

Avoid Stardust Video and Coffee / Poor Customer Service

I've been here before plenty of times and have definitely noticed that most of the staff seem aloof, but M. at the cash register takes rude to a new level. Menu is limited to 8 items now, of which one is a waffle. She seemed surprised that there was a waffle on the menu, but after I showed her there was, she allowed us to proceed to order that for our 4-year-old daughter's dinner, and I asked questions like "is there syrup on it?" and "is there butter on it?" to which she shrugged and did not know the answer. I mean... a waffle is on a menu; I didn't think either of these questions were particularly out-of-the-ordinary. I should have known then we'd never be seeing that waffle. So, we pay, we sit down, we wait for our food to arrive, and alas... my husband's food and my food arrives, but no waffle. Luckily there were some chips with our meals, so our daughter snacked on those while asking us where her waffle was. So, about a half-an-hour after ordering, I walked back up to the counter and politely asked the same person if the waffle was still coming out. To which she replied "Yes," and then RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, making no attempt whatsoever to hide her error, asked the line cook "Can you make a waffle?" I was aghast that she'd never put the order in, wondering if maybe she'd forgotten, but I let it go. I know the talent pool is limited these days; I know not to expect a Ritz Carlton (or even Chick-Fil-A level of service) everywhere I dine. The restaurant was not busy; there were 3 people there on their computers who appeared to have been there all afternoon and were not actively ordering anything; there was a couple who came in before us who ordered and was now seated at the bar with their food and drinks; and there was another family who was seated and enjoying their food and beverages at this point. At this point, it was just time to make a waffle, literally (or let us know no waffle was going to be made). So, we want another 25 minutes. No waffle. My daughter is starving at this point. My husband and I have long since finished our respective dinners. So, my husband decided to go up to her at the counter again to ask for a refund since - after an hour - we're ready to leave and we still have not received the waffle. She processes the refund and shared with him that the restaurant does not have a working waffle iron. They haven't the entire time, which explains why she was initially surprised it was even on the menu. So, my daughter was NEVER getting that waffle for dinner. And she knew it. Yet she gladly took our money and had no problem lying to me TWICE that we'd be receiving a waffle. And then she had the audacity to get an attitude with me when I called her out on it as we were leaving. I asked for her name so I could warn my friends and neighbors about our experience, but she refused to give it. I asked to speak to her manager, but she said that there weren't any. I then asked the next employee who walked by what her name was, and he told me that if I wanted to complain about her, I could complain about the whole restaurant. So, here I am, doing as I was encouraged to do. Fortunately, after we left, I noticed her name on the receipt. So just as a fair warning friends and neighbors, if you are looking for a nice night out to grab a bite and libation, this may not be what you're looking for.

[[Update - I have spoken to the owner / manager, who was a very nice gentleman and shared with me the challenges of operating a small business / restaurant during these times. As I stated above, this is not lost on me. He also apologized to me, which felt validating after how we were treated. It doesn't change the experience, but because of his kindness, I upgraded the # of stars given.]]

Really cool chill place to have some coffee and do some work. Had a vanilla latte and it was delicious. Seating area are spread out but couldn’t find an outlet as those seats get taken quickly They have a nice book selection but overall cool place to vibe. Located in a great area also .

One of my favorite hang out spots in Orlando. While colorful and creatively decorated, they make bomb hot chocolate and tea. I'm guessing their coffee is delicious, too, but I don't drink coffee. They also serve beer if that's your bag. :) If you've got a few extra hours, go to Stardust and enjoy a cozy atmosphere to get a beverage, chat with friends, and/or read one of their many books displayed on their walls :) 🌸 Cheers!
