Foxtail Coffee Bar

Fast and Friendly staff. Not a local to the area so I had difficulty finding the place because their street sign was up against a wall. Very cozy spot to relax with your laptop or meet up with friends.

Tucked inside the restaurant, Dovecote which is inside the Bank of America building, this location of the Winter Park based coffee roaster is just as good as the original. Specializing in Cold Brew they also have excellent espresso drinks made from their espresso blend or a single origin. With plenty of seating inside and out, you may want to stay for a while.

Great space, even better hours. And of course, coffee is excellent as with other Foxtail locations. The Wi-Fi is spotty though, so I think twice about it if I need to get work done.

It was totally empty but 1 male staff member was busy chatting with his female friend. The other blonde was so overwhelmed she hadn't even checked for the online orders. Beautiful on the inside to wait.

Foxtail in some peoples opinion is a next level of Starbucks. I just like my expresso ☕️ shot.

I’ve gotten Foxtail twice and it really has just been alright. The coffee tends to be weak and acidic. I’ve tried both their espresso based drinks and their cold brew and neither were well done. At this specific coffee bar there was only one person worker which is understandable as I doubt it gets heavy foot traffic but we waited for about 30mins for our coffee (3) as there was a family of 5 before us. This was no fault to the person worker so I hope the company can reconsider how many people they employ at this location if they are not already.

Their matcha latte is sickly sweet. You can't order without sugar as the sugar is already in the matcha syrup.

Coffee was only OK though

The coffee is quite good and the bar and restaurant is quite nice inside. The decor is well done and I enjoyed the experience, but 6.38 for a large latte (16oz? it didn't even seem that large) is too pricey to justify coming back. If you've got money to burn then go ahead, but unless they lower the price I won't bother coming back. The other problem is that it's not immediately obvious how to get there. I saw the name on the building and walked past it twice because the doors/windows at the entrance are for the restaurant that Foxtail shares the building with. There is a "coffee" sign above the doors but I walked past it once or twice before entering the restaurant and finding it. I highly suggest that the Foxtail name is put on the doors/windows at the entrance in some fashion, the lady that entered as I left had to ask me where I got my coffee.
As a side note, whoever has done the design for the coffee cups nailed it. I like the name Foxtail as well, I hope they lower the price eventually so I can experience this place again. Until then I'll keep going to another bar that's cheaper or make my own coffee. Good experience overall but too pricey.

I enjoyed my coffee time at Foxtail Coffee Bar. The atmosphere is cool, the decors are great and you can find nice seating options with tons of natural lights. I had the Cafe Latte which tastes great and sandwiches. The service is fast and the people here are friendly. The downside probably is the high price but overall this is a great coffee shop!
