What, are you serious , I can't believe I didn't know about this spot earlier!!!!! First of the, the setting is perfect for getting away from distractions of everyday hustle and bustle. The staff was very pleasant and informative. The bonus is the menu with selection to please any palet. A must try is their egg in bread, think soufflé but better. And Yes !!!! The coffee !!!!! Not only does it taste good but it looks just as well. Importantly the proceeds go to support those in need. Try the King Julien ensemble. I will definitely be back for more.

I like the vibe. Less aloof or distant clients. More hometown friendliness. The staff too were genuinely kind, courteous and friendly. Not just working for tips. A big open place and yet easy to hear each other in conversation. Oh, and the coffee was great!

Very friendly staff and they 're committed to a very important cause, helping the people of Haiti. Plus the coffee and baked goods are great. I just wish they had more small tables for working.

Wonderful atmosphere, great staff that are super loving and helpful, lots of room to hang out or get some work done over a coffee! Lots of food and healthy food options as well!

If there were zero stars to rate the company’s service it would be that.

My experience in dining in and ordering to take out has been met with extremely poor service. My first time dining in, my order was overlooked and my friend’s was served. When asked the server said they hadn’t heard the order even though it was paid for. This after waiting over 45 minutes for an avocado sandwich.

The second time was no better as they service is very long wait time after ordering a latte. Which, again was made incorrectly and incurred even more time waiting for it to be remade.

Third time I decided to overlook the previous issues and my friend and I were looking for a quiet place for a meeting— again, after placing our orders and paying- only one meal was served and a repeat of the same — sorry, they didn’t hear the order, etc. so more waiting.

The next time I order out a masala chai tea latte - to go - and they never added the milk!! I discovered too late as I had left and I was too far away after discovering this.

Today I stopped in for a last time - ordered a masala chai tea latte to go - by now it’s the way of DUO58 I’ve thus experienced- 2 girls we’re deciding on meals- told me to go ahead and I did. I waited and waited and waited…. I asked for my order as I needed to leave- you guessed it - it wasn’t ready and orders were ahead of mine - I said no - those ppl had me order before them, yet their drinks were made and ready before mine - but they don’t know what happened and it would take yet 5 or so minutes… I asked for a refund, the cashier didn’t know what I had ordered and asked me to tell her…. I did only to be offended a ‘free drink’ to which I declined.
What would a free drink do when I couldn’t get one I paid for? I left

Is it because I’m colored? Older and looked gym-worn and untidy. Maybe only a certain type of people can be served at this cafe? I am left with very few options to consider as I tried calling the numbers on the website- only voicemail and no live one to speak with.

How many times can a company keeping messing up the same one person’s order?
I am angry, frustrated and disappointed. And I was made to understand this company is faith-based and helps so much in the community.
Every option failed and the employees here are VERY SLOW.

I know where I will not patronize.
This has been in the minus, poor, in review for me.
