Café 906

Our favorite breakfast spot on the weekend. We come early and then take a walk down to the lake. Staff and the owner are always incredibly friendly. Best French eclair in town easily.

Delicious mimosas and macarons!! Had a cranberry mimosa and strawberry macaroon!

MENU: 5 stars. Cafe 906 offers a large variety of baked goods, breakfast items, sandwiches, small plates, and coffee. I wanted something tried and true so I ordered the syrup crepes. They were pretty good. I also had a pumpkin spice latte and it was delicious as well. No gripes here.

MOOD: 5 stars. I really like the area in and around Baldwin Park. 906 was located in downtown at the end of a trendy, cozy street. The inside was that of a chic coffee shop where 20-somethings frequented. The aura was a welcome feeling.

STAFF: 5 stars. The staff was courteous. Being that it was my first visit in quite some time, I took an admittedly long time looking at the wall menu. It must have been a little awkward for the cashier (whatever) but he was nice and helpful.

TL; DR VERDICT: 5 stars. A tasty and extensive menu, a chic atmosphere, and kind employees ensure I’ll go out of my way to visit Cafe 906 again.

Love the outdoor seating near the fountain and the baked goods, soup, coffee, tar and sandwiches. It is the go-to place in Baldwin Park for lunch and weekend brunch

My favorite stop in Baldwin Park. Excellent coffee and light French breakfast & lunch, plus yummy pastries. Counter service with to the table delivery. Indoor and outdoor dining in a lovely setting with no loud music!

Great little French style cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. I had the 'oslo' - savory crepe with smoked salmon. I also tried the Croque-Monsieur and a selection of the pastries. The pain-aux-chocolat is very good. Parking can be tricky if you go during the work week, but I always found spaces in the covered parking at 1780 Welham St.

Amazing food and was happy to speak French with the man who took my order. Will be coming back many more times!

Delicious pastries and friendly service! Loved it! I just wished they had more pastries for sale… I went there twice and twice it was practically empty! :(
They should open another store on Orlando Ave near where all the traffic is…Just love them!

Great for bake goods. A lot of selections for croissants and desserts by not good for hot meals. Coffee is average.
