Café Evergreen Restaurant

This place is awesome! Healthy tastes good here. That is a huge accomplishment in my book. The staff is friendly and the food is FRESH. Definitely will be returning next time I'm in the area!

Really enjoyed our time here. They brought out complimentary edamame to start. Then we had some delicious cauliflower as an appetizer before digging into the main course. My wife loved the black bean burger, I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan beet Reuben, and while not quite meeting that traditional Reuben flavor, it was still a great tasting sandwich. The service was top notch with the server even doing a little signing with my deaf mother in law. I highly recommend.

Evergreen offers a wide range of very healthy foods. I look forward to trying more in the future. They are open now for in person and takeout, with online be ordering ahead. My sandwich and the slaw we're a bit too vinaigry for my taste. I like a bit of tartness, but pickled beets on the sandwich we're too much. Sweet potato fries ,(actually baked) were delicious. They got cold as we drove our takeout to a good view, but that's no one's fault. Nice cardboard takeout boxes. Really pleasant staff, and looks great for eating in; it's a small place but was not busy and there is limited, shaded, outdoor seating.

One of our favorite restaurants. Their menu has just the right amount of food on it for everyone to be able to find something. The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is always very clean. This has been one of the few restaurants we will dine-in during the whole pandemic. All the staff seem to have a passion for taking care of customers and making sure you have the best possible experience.

This Cafe is for you if you are vegan or vegetarian. Great cappuccinos, delicious desserts, indoor and outdoor seating available. Only downside is that it's right on Tamiami, so most outdoor seating is within earshot of cars rushing by. They should build a privacy wall or green hedge along the side facing the road.

The food is absolutely amazing and as a bonus everything is organic!! I personally have a weakness for the pesto ranch chicken wrap with a side of roasted cauliflower. I usually follow it with the flourless chocolate cake for dessert.

The prices are reasonable and staff is knowledgeable. Every time I'm up in North Venice (usually after I've been on legacy trail) I always hit this restaurant. I recommended highly

Visiting the area in early November 2018. We had found this Cafe for its Gluten Free menu choices as one of our party has a medical condition. Well who knew Gluten Free meant, fresh, tasty and varied menu as well. The meal was great and I would go there by myself any time. Try the Cider. Try the salmon. Chicken pot pie and salad couldn't be beat. Oh and speaking of beets, try the beet salad as well.

You wont be disappointed if you stop and eat here. I didn't even get a chance to say how awesome the staff are (Matt, Kelly, and Maggie). We hit the cafe twice in one week just because of the staff. Looking forward to returning in a month. :)

Stopped in here with a friend last Saturday for lunch. I am a Whipple procedure survivor and I need to eat very healthy. It’s really difficult for me to go out to eat anywhere because of the lack of healthy choices. This place is amazing. first of all, the staff is friendly and attentive. To start, they bring you a small bowl of edamame, which is very nice. I tried their CBD infused kombucha. I’ve never had anything like this before. It was different, but refreshing, and I really loved it. It made me feel wonderful! I ordered their famous Evergreen club. It was absolutely delicious. I chose a side of roasted cauliflower, which was also delicious. I also wanted to mention that the portions are huge, at least for me. I took half of my meal home! I got to enjoy it all over again later!! I enjoyed my meal so much, that I went back again today and had it all over again! Next time, I’ll try something different. I have a feeling I may become a regular here! What a great place!

Never had a bad meal here. There is something for everyone, and everything is fresh. Vegan, vegetarian, meat lovers, organic, gluten free. Tasty tasty!! Tonight my son and husband had the filet topped with crab, with fingerling potatoes and Asparagus, and i had the salmon with a pecan asian sauce. So delicious!! I love their house sodas too! Try it, you will love it!

Delicious & healthy options, and friendly wonderful staff. Visited with family members of mixed ages, food preferences, and dietary restrictions -- everybody was very happy with all of their drinks, meals, and desserts. There is an extensive menu of beverages from alcoholic drinks to teas and an awesome menu of juices and smoothies. I loved the excellent vegan options, while other family members also enjoyed their meat and non-meat dishes. We were also very glad that we tried their desserts -- totally vegan but I promise that nobody missed the dairy. We will happily return wherever we are in the area.
