The only establishment that specializes and serves Cuban coffee with beans from Cuba that is hard to obtain. You can see the actual roaster they use so yes the coffee is roasted on site! A real treat. They sell the equipment to make coffee including the different sizes of cafeteras. Plus they offer various coffees including the cafe bonbon. Our favorite is an iced coffee bonbon in summer. Essentially you can customize your order and they will gladly prepare it.

Owners Ernesto and Judith are normally there to greet you, prepare the coffee and chat with you about anything. Such lovely folks. We enjoy this personal connection to the local culture and community.

They are open 7 days a week. A must see in Little Havana and try the coffee!!

P.s. And if you do not drink coffee they also offer fresh pressed sugar cane juice.

This is a must do! We went to La Colada Gourmet after a delicious Cuban-Style meal at a restaurant on Calle 8. My brother and I have enjoyed fine Cuban Coffee on many occassions, and this place was inviting.

The owner was there - and I'm glad he was. He introduced the coffees that are listed on the menu. He highlighted the differences, the flavors and the impact of each. He was well informed and a joy to learn from.

The coffee is roasted and grinded on the spot. The building smells fabulous. We had a Raspberry pastry that was delicious with our coffees. I recommend anybody who is on Calle 8 stop and have a Cuban Coffee. This is the place! Muchas gracias!

Oh my goodness went here about a week ago and I can't get the taste out of my mind. Now I'm 2300km north sitting in a snow storm dreaming of little Havana's perfect coffee. The owner who served my group was amazing and very patient as we decided what to order. The atmosphere, the food quality, the location, and the service were amazing. I've tried to emulate the cafe dos lache (I believe that's what it's called) at home but no luck. Can't wait to visit again.

Perfect place to try Cuban coffee in Little Havana. What I loved is that they have images for the items on the list so you can know what you’re ordering! We ordered Cafe con Leché and Cuban coffee.
Wasn’t disappointed at all, great flavors and service.
We were served two to three minutes after ordering and it wasn’t very busy.
Good amount of seats and friendly staff.

Cuban coffee shop with great customer service offering over 20 different blends. The place is nicely decorated, all the coffee is toasted In the house. Perfect for a quick bite with friends or family.

Place is small but cozy. The resin for the 4 stars is for the very small guava pastry given (like 2”x1””) for the same price a regular size a Cuban pastry is (4x4 at the least) also, specialty coffees are a bit pricy but worthy.

First of all the service here is always extremely friendly and they bring a lot of great energy. It’s a joy to visit. This is most important to me because service is often lacking in Miami. I want to feel good about the businesses I support and I feel good supporting la colada gourmet. And the coffee and pastries are good too. Not the best in the world but always consistent and always good. They have some speciality coffees that are super yummy and worth it to try! The only downside and what keeps it from a full 5 stars for me is the fact that they open so late. I get that they’re on a major tourist destination street, but there are other businesses open earlier, a restaurant on the corner and Starbucks. I avoid Starbucks whenever possible. But if I take a walk around the neighborhood in the morning la colada gourmet isn’t open: it keeps it from feeling like a community spot and more like it’s only for tourists. It also makes it feel less like a coffee shop which I love to visit in the morning but don’t really have too many options on calle ocho where I live. I have to get in my car if I want to go somewhere in the morning for a local spot I can sit and enjoy my morning coffee. So, I just end up making coffee at home most often and visit la colada once in a while, for a special occasion and a speciality coffee. ❤️

We always stop by when we're in Miami. Little Havana is a wonderful community and this shop is, as well.

Excellent coffee shop. Had the cafe con leche with some guava pastries and it was very good. Cafe is decorated very nicely and has a cool Cuban theme.
They also sell both ground and whole brans of their own coffee you can purchase and make at home.
