Panther Coffee - Miami Beach

The coffee Quality is OK. It’s on the bitter side. That’s not why am writing this review. Absolutely the worst customer service at a coffee shop that I have experienced in a long time. The employees making the coffee have a attitude. No smile / no good morning. They act like they were doing you a favor. I can go on and on but I think you have the point. The service— very slow. The only reason they probably stay in business as their location.
FYI they let you sit in the restaurant but say you can not use the bathrooms due to Covid ??

a change in my usual route brought me to panther coffee in south beach for the first time and it has been a complete success! Pain Au Chocolat deliciously fresh, espresso prepared to perfection, very attentive staff, you rarely get quality in this part of town so I am happy about my new favorite place, thank you.

It‘s a great working and coffee spot, nice service and also a good and nice looking crowd gathering around the location ;-) if you want to work you‘ll be good here.

What do they put in their coffee!!! It tastes delicious but the anxiety it caused me was next level. The cold brew has 4 espresso shots. If you can handle that then this place is for you! I was up all night!! Sad my body can’t handle it because it was delicious. Sip at your own risk!!!!! BEWARE

UPDATE: Along with the decline in service, the pour over is now over extracted and bitter. I gave this place many chances. No more. // Original review: This is the best coffee in south beach. It might be the only specialty coffee in south beach. For that reason it gets 5 stars. It gets two stars taken away because the people working here, if they were any less excited about their jobs, would verge on the hostile. I’ve been here 5 times in 10 days. No one remembers my name. No one wants to talk about coffee. They announced my order just now and I was seated by the windows inside and when I popped my head up they said the coffee was around the other side of the bar so I’d have to walk to get it even though they could have left it on the shelf by me or taken literally five seconds to hand it over (without any distancing or safety issues). Not once has anyone asked if I like the coffee. That is astounding. I’ve been to coffee shops all over the world and serious baristas want to know that their customers are satisfied, what their taste is, and sometimes they even try to sell people beans or strike up a conversation. Imagine! There’s none of that here. Maybe I’m just essentially still a New Yorker who wants people to give a sh*t. Here they don’t.
