Cortadito Coffee House Washington

Cortadito’s is absolutely 5 stars!! It is way more than a coffee house. The food is unbelievable..restaurant quality 100%. Everything is fresh and made to order. The service is very quick and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The place is small but that’s just how I like it. Doesn’t need to be any bigger. It’s quaint and charming and a nice little getaway from the busy street of ocean Ave. Prices are reasonable and not touristy expensive. Every time I’m in south beach I HAVE to stop by, morning or afternoon, and get a sandwich and empanada.

I ordered an XL iced matcha latte and forgot to ask for some pumps of vanilla so I asked the employee making it if she could please add it and even stated that I had no problem paying for it and she was refusing to add it. She wasn’t even finished making it, I told her immediately. She kept telling me not to add the vanilla because I’m not gonna like it and its “too sweet” and I explained that I always ordered it like this she continued to refuse. She finally did it and told me that for the next time she won’t be doing that again. I just didn’t understand the attitude or hostility over an honest mistake I made. I came to get a drink and go, not have someone tell me how to drink my drink.

Friendly coffee shop with good everything. Cortadito was a 7/10 compared to others I've had in Miami - less punchy beans, thinned out espresso, and milk was lukewarm with watery foam. If you told me it was a short Peet's latte, I would have believed you.

The barista delivery metric is to deliver within 10 minutes, so we were a little upset he/she pushed it to that time limit on all the orders we saw. But yes, it's Miami Beach and not NYC. Set timing expectations appropriately.

Breakfast ends at 11 soo get here before. Coffee is good, friendly staff. All the fun and tasty goodies

Coffee was so good. Honestly super memorable, and I don’t say that a lot. I didn’t try the food, BUT in my opinion, it seemed overpriced and not super worth it

The coffee is excellent and the staff is very pleasant. I got an egg ham and cheese sandwich which was delicious. I’ll absolutely be going again tomorrow.

Traditional no sugar cortadito is worth tasting 😋

First time trying Cuban coffee and kept coming back for my whole vacation. Didn’t even bother trying another place-fantastic coffee I keep craving it. Don’t forget to try that guava pastry!!

Great service , wonderful food. Thanks to Yuly and Mel they were so kind. The Latte 3 Leches and the cream cheese pastry are to die for. Definitely i’ll come back. Best coffee house in South Beach

Great place for coffee and Cuban breakfast and pastries! Highly recommend. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. Great service and hospitality! We will definitely be back
