The Kava Shack - 24/7 Coffee and Kava

Was visiting Madeira Beach for a few days on a mini vacation, and I’m so glad that my friend and I found this little gem! We are both coffee addicts which was the initial reason we came to check out the place.

The moment we walked in, it was nothing but good vibes - I especially LOVED the decor and layout of the place. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly.

When we sat down and made conversation with the barista, we were curious on learning more about kava. Our barista was super helpful and did a wonderful job explaining to us what kava is, the history behind it, and all. He even gave us a complimentary “welcome” kava drink with a community cheers. Very cool experience. If I ever visit Madeira Beach again I will definitely be coming here again!

My new favorite coffee absolutely. Very neat by place to eat and sit down in different settings it’s laid-back the prices are fair it’s the need to. You gotta try!

One of my favorite places to work from. The Owner Dan and Staff are amazing. Toni, Tim, Mark, Justin, and Morgan have been very helpful and attentive when it comes to giving customers an amazing experience. And the place is also 24/7, how awesome is that?!

Highly Recommend anyone who's looking for an awesome creative space to enjoy their time at. They also have a library and tons of games here which includes (Pool and Ping Pong) to interact with which makes the place so much more enjoyable.

Seating is a big thing for me and they have a bunch. If you're feeling like falling into the abyss and relaxing away then you can sit in their Bean Bags. They also have couches with tables and TVs you can watch movies or your favorite show. The bar seating is nice as well. Coming here feels like a place I've should have been coming to for a long time and very thankful for the love that I've gotten while being here. It feels like home away from home, thanks guys for making my experience always a great one!

1st Great coffee. Also, a cool vibe. Barista was very friendly, and knowledgeable. Customers were also very nice and chatty if you are looking for that. Quirky place, some might find it messy looking. I thought it fit the mood of the place. Rare to see a place where old and young customers blend together seamlessly. Made an old guy like me feel younger. Very computer friendly if you want to chill and work there for a while.

Great place to sit back and unwind. A sitting area with a tv for you and your friends to watch your favorite shows, a guitar hero setup, ping pong table, pool table, and many other great stations for recreation. The lights are always dim, adding to a great low energy atmosphere. The staff are always friendly, and despite how tired they look they're always happy to see you.

I hang out here pretty often, the vibe is chill, there is plenty of room inside, the kratom is pretty potent, it is one of the few places I'll fill up my growler at because I know it's not watered down. The prices are great, it's got an indoor and outdoor area, bean bag chairs, video games, pool table, ping pong, they have a little guitar hero set up, open 24/7. It is one of my favorite spots to hit up afterwork to wind down with some kava.

A whole vibe. If you are in the area you have to experience it. I don’t remember the lady’s name who helped me but she seemed like she works there often, she was great at her job. Very welcoming, knowledgeable and brought it all together. I had a brown sugar shaken iced latte and it is now in my list of favorite drinks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Come one come all bring your aggressive dogs here! Best spot in town to have off leash aggressive dogs. No leash requirements here. Don't worry if someone complains about your aggressive off leash dog you won't be asked to leave. Actually if your dog is aggressive you can do whatever you want 😉
