I was referred here by a friend. I love coffee and found the atmosphere visually appealing. However, the staff and barista are not friendly to new guests. I ordered a black coffee and cold brew for my husband. After waiting 15 minutes, I decided to approach the counter to see if there was an issue. The barista ignored me, and decided to give attention to another guest who already had their coffee and it seemed that they were friends. They carried on a conversation while my coffee was slowly made. While causal talk is great, I think considering the guests waiting for coffee is better time spent. I wasn't given a fraction of the same attention that other guests received. It appears very clicky here, and perhaps I disrupted that. I will not be returning. The coffee quality is not very good either. Just disappointing.

Thanks for an amazing experience today! We drove 50 minutes to visit your cute shop today! Best coffee around and I’m super excited to have an apothecary to frequent as well!! Did not disappoint and will definitely be back!

Great little coffee and tea shop. The London Fog was delicious. Books on shelves for reading pleasure, a neat place to hang out with a friend and chat. It has a unique boutique as well. I picked up a fun dishtowel for our new kitchen.
We just came back from Hurricane Michael and I was really glad that they made it through the storm. It has been a great addition to downtown Lynn Haven.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I'm a tourist who wishes I had had about 2 hours to enjoy this quirky lil coffee shop with a cozy vibe. I got the Thai latte with oat, and the espresso was exceptional. If you're a coffee aficionado on the coast, Wild Root is definitely worth the drive inland.
UPDATE DEC 2021: I was fortunate enough to be in the area once more and got to visit this gem again! The barista was warm and welcoming and fixed me up with the Blackstrap this time--tasty! A very kind and patient lady answered ALL my questions regarding the herbs. I reluctantly left this shop with a happy tummy, a bag full of herbs, and a smile on my face. :)
UPDATE APRIL 2022: Wild Root maintains their top quality coffee experience. This shop is quaint, charming, and just lovely. The Smoked Palo Caramel is an incredible delight.

Awesome little coffee shop (and more!) in a Lynn Haven neighborhood. They've got a great collection of interesting lattes and other drinks, plus an assortment of snacks. There are a couple of outside tables to compliment the indoor seats. Great decor and a collection of books to browse cap off the experience.
