Don’t tell my 🇨🇺 Cuban wife ... but this is my favorite Cuban coffee place in the world. Yes. Better than Versailles in Miami.
Long lines ... so prepare yourself
There is a close bathroom by the marina.
Great breakfast and great coffee.
You can thank me later

Great street place (take out only). Jose Marti sandwich was delicious! The service was fast and efficient. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love the colada, which was the double espresso shots. One of the best coffees I ever had in all of Florida.

Great, strong coffee, very friendly service. I would stop by again to get coffee again!

I traipsed around Key West this weekend in search of one thing and one thing only: a carnivorous gluten free sandwich to soak up the 12 mojitos I had.
Upon locating Cuban Coffee Queen I was elated to note they had mention of gluten free sandwich bread on their menu. I inquired with the kind chef and there was sudden danger of a lack of gf on premises.
After threatening to cry if gluten-free bread didn’t materialize— as one does — he disappeared across the parking lot and returned with an arm full of bread and a satisfied grin.
After 2 bites, my fellow foodie claimed this was the best meal eaten all weekend. After my aggressive sandwich-fueled photo shoot, I’d have to agree. I’m also a fan of Cuban coffee and they do theirs well. THE vanilla Cuban coffee was enough to inspire you to take shameless photos of your sandwich while confused onlookers wondered what sandwich magic could compel you to do so.
I digress, and implore you to visit here.

Took my mother here yesterday because its her favorite coffee shop on all of Key West, the coffee was good, no complaints. I spent 15 dollars on two coffees, which again isnt my complaint. After i paid that much for coffees, the lady taking my order was watching me sign my check, and when she noticed i didnt tip anything because that not my job, she instantly became nasty and completely unfriendly. It is not my job that waiters are paid livable wages, the utter disrespect was just disgusting.

This is a walkup coffee and sandwich shack. Get a Cuban Sandwich. You can thank me later. Best one Ive ever had.
Its fast paced, there is usually a line. Know what you want when its your turn. The guy at the counter was friendly.
We found a bench on the boardwalk and enjoyed our sanwiches by the water. There are also a few picnic tables at the place if you dont want to wander.

Loved this spot! We went back twice! Great smoothies, coffee and sandwiches. Very nice staff. Would eat here again!
