I have absolutely loved Foxtail every time I’ve found myself in Orlando, and I am now so glad to have them in Gainesville! CF and the crew have been so kind every time I’ve gone in. Big peel: Their coffee is consistently good.
I’ve seen a lot of reviews about their pricing, but it seems pretty in line with what I spend per drink at Starbucks, Afternoon, Curia, and more. Plus, it rivals Afternoon for the best oat milk latte in town. Nevertheless, I would happily pay more at a small biz chain than a dollar or two less at a big corporation like Starbucks. Hope folks will think about that!
LYLT, Foxtail Friends!

I was so excited when I heard that Foxtail Coffee Co was opening up a location in Gainesville and it did not disappoint! The coffee and atmosphere is amazing! And there is a good amount of parking in the surrounding area which makes it super nice and convenient!
I got their iced oat milk latte and it's one of the better ones I've had in Gainesville! I think they're around the same price as the other local coffee shops in this area. I spent around $6 on my drink which is what I spend at almost every coffee shop.

Extremely good coffee AND teas. Drop your Starbucks and try out real coffee. We will be back! Thank you for everything

As a former barista, I will gladly pay for a worthy pour over and Foxtail delivered! Every seat was taken while we visited, but were able to move a table from the sun into the shade. Across the street is a seating area, but more shaded seating is needed please! Their chocolate croissant was disappointing (chewy filling and slightly charred), but my friend loved her banana nut bread.

The Foxtail guys were hospitable and helpful in picking a coffee for me (he actually made a custom drink for me). Environment is “cozy” aka small, but well used. The coffee I had was barely hot when served, but this is probably not the norm. The beans were decent flavored.
Score: customer service 2/2. Environment 2/3. Coffee 3/5. = 7/10. Ill round up to 4/5 because they’re open late, which is very rare.

Certainly the most disappointing Foxtail location. Prices are very high. Outrageously so. I understand that local and organic is pricey but it’s more than most other natural places. The breakfast sandwich wasn’t good at all. Coffee tasted fine but not as good as a place like Wyatt’s or even Pascal’s.

I am excited for Foxtail to move to town! I discovered them a few years ago in Orlando and thought they would do well in Gainesville. The coffee is great and after talking to the manager it is clear they want to keep quality high even as they expand. Whoop!

Good coffee and super friendly staff! I got a dirty iced chai with oat milk. The menu however is very small nothing unique and not a lot of indoor seating, also a bit overpriced.

Give it a solid 4.4, the prices aren't bad at all. No idea what people are complaining about. They must be getting like 30 things added to their coffee to try and mimic their crazy Starbucks order. It's good

Good coffee and service, but I doubt think I can come back… then music is just too weird and depressing.
