The Sound Cafe + Enlightened Studios

The place is very warm and inviting. Lots of events including my favorite when they have metal bands play! You have the venue side connected to the cafe side so, if you don't feel like staying in right in front of the action, you can still hear the bands and sit down and enjoy yourself and have a bite to eat or drink. That's another thing, the food menu isn't huge, but it doesn't need to be. No matter your taste, you could find something you want and it would be delicious. No having to leave the event you're attending or stop hanging out just to go get food. For a night out with friends, or family, 10 out of 5 stars recommend!

I am super proud and blessed to be living so close to such great talent and to such a friendly and welcoming environment like The Sound Cafe + Enlightened Studios. You won’t find anyone more down to earth and genuine than this place or these people; that is why I am so beyond proud to call this home. Enlightened Studios is absolutely amazing! They are huge supporters of the art community and offer so much support to artists just starting out. Additionally, their food and coffee is phenomenal. The environment is welcoming, family friendly, and relaxing. I got started with my art career with their support and can't stress enough how great this place is for artists!

I can't say enough about Cole Huffer and Enlightened Studios.
Excellent venue to play, record, chill, have coffee, have a bite to eat and make new friends. Enlightened and the Sound Cafe are a much needed hub in the Ft Walton Beach area Andis vital part of the heartbeat if the area.
They've been a breath of fresh air since they opened!!

I'm usually a generous critic, but I can honestly say I'm really disappointed. We ordered Doordash, and our dasher had to wait a bit for the drinks. We had a PB&J panini that was really thick, bready, and tasted a bit soggy like maybe it had been made before the drinks were even acknowledged. Our lattes were the wrong size and weren't even warm (we are 2 miles from the location). The taste was meh - I'm a huge chai latte fan, and after getting them from numerous places this is honestly close to the bottom of the list. From this one experience I could not recommend this shop.

I've been going here for a while now & only just thought to leave a review. This place is great & one of the few places I feel really comfortable approaching new people--one of those cafes where you can actually sit down & stay for hours. Everyone who works here is super cool too :-)

Here is your quest: arrive before sunset, acquire the beverage, walk over to the water’s edge at the landing, (the sun has just set, gold is on the tops of the trees) and slowly, quietly commune with spirit of the gloaming (which looks wondrous blue and tastes like lavender)

Lovely folks behind the bar, scrumptious food, friendly patrons, and the events (check out the event calendar on their site) always bring me back for more.

Great coffee selection and amazing staff! The owner is awesome! Whenever we come back on vacation this will be one of our first stops!

Best Coffee House in town! Great place for live entertainment and they always have something cool going on there! We’ve had music recording done there, background music for a book, a book trailer, and videography for a music video! The owner, Cole Huffer and his staff always make every production a great experience and 100% professional quality. Do t forget to try the food- Amazing!
