Tuckaway Cafe

Absolutely loved it. A picture of one of their sandwiches (all bagels) on the web drew us to it. We came back and bought 4 more for our family. The Meatwich with the spinach parmesan bagel (pictured) was absolutely worth every penny. The frappe my fiancé purchased was made exactly as she wanted. The smoothies were top-tier as well. An excellent hidden gem on Ft. Myers Beach. We will be back.

We’ve travelled to the area every year for the past 5 years and have breakfast here a few times during each stay. During this COVID time, we ordered through Grubhub one morning. A driver never picked it up. We waited for over an hour and my husband called Tuckaway to check. They had the order ready. And the manager brought it to us. That’s what I call above and beyond service! The bagel sandwiches are one of a kind, fresh and flavorful. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry.

The best breakfast in Ft. Myers, hands down. The staff are amazing. Owners are hard working Americans that believe in quality and putting the customer first. Great location and brand new outdoor patio. Feels like I'm on a tropical island just eating there. It would be a mistake for you to go anywhere else. Thank me later, after you are done with your bagel or waffles.

My husband ordered the breakfast special (eggs, toast, potatoes and meat of choice) He ordered with sausage. I ordered the waffle which a side of bacon. When breakfast came my husband had my bacon and no sausage. We mentioned it to the waitress. She looked at receipt and says " you're right you ordered sausage." She went to get it and when she came back she says "you weren't charged for the bacon and if you want it you'll have to pay for it!!" Now other diners, cafes or restaurants would have apologized and brought out the sausage. It was clearly a mistake on their part because the cashier knew I ordered bacon. I could hear the staff discussing it. Won't go back. The waffle was supposed to be so go was tasteless.

I've heard nothing but awesome things about this place from family living on the island, and they lived up to every accolade!!! Wish I could have eaten here more, but next visit...this will be one of my 1st breakfast stops.

Nice and friendly spot to have breakfast near the beach. Food was good and you have the option of dining indoors or outdoors.

This is one of my favorite breakfast/ coffee places ever! They have delicious bagel sandwiches and amazing flavored lattes. The staff is super nice and friendly too! Always look forward to it when we go yo Fort Myers. 👍

Great options. Waffle with bananas and cream was delish. Bagel egg and bacon sandwich was heaven (so fresh and soft). Coffe, regular for me, was really good. Nice atmosphere, and excellent for Sunday Breakfast!!! Large of small group, if in Estero Island, don't forget to go!

I hate doing this because the food really was good. The front house staff was super friendly and really nice. I do not like singling people out but there was an older lady in the kitchen berating all of the workers. I mean this lady changed the atmosphere of the entire establishment. You were literally able to see the discomfort on the workers faces (although they didn't show it in front of the customer), and that negative atmosphere would roll over into the seating are. My opinion, if you want to berate your employees and throw tantrums, don't have an open kitchen.

The staff here are super friendly. Terrific bagels - real cream cheese, not just the small side of Philly cc. And their bacon is thin and crispy. Good coffee, too. Will be back.
