Triad Seafood Market & Cafe

Great lunch spot for fresh and local seafood!! We ordered conch fritters, stone crab, and fried alligator. All of it was delicious and the service was fairly quick! The deck is screened in and provides a nice view of the water. The tables were also spaced out nicely.

Good food and friendly staff, but a bit pricey for what you get.

The freshest cooked stone crab you can get. The blue soft shell crab was outstanding too! The French fries was crispy and great. Well worth a stop by!

It was my first time eating here. I was highly disappointed after reading good reviews about the place. They ran out of medium stone crabs so I had no choice but to order the large. The large size at Triad were the medium size at other restaurants. Avoid the conch fritters. They were greasy and inedible. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is due to the outside sitting area which I found relaxing and peaceful.

I really wanted to give 0 stars. I was a single diner and got no service at all I mean at all. Never got the drink I ordered. Never was checked to see how dinner was, nothing I mean nothing. When I mentioned this to the owner she got real nasty and the rest of the staffed chimed in as well. If you like nasty poor service and mediocre over priced seafood than go here. Otherwise I would save my money and dignity and go elsewhere. They really should be ashamed of themselves!!!

Fresh off the docks (next door) stone crabs were outstanding! Even the sides were great, as well as the Key Lime pie! The setting is "old Florida", perched right on the water and the staff are friendly. Great spot!

Great food. Great service. Great prices.

This was a pleasant surprise. Everglades City seems to get a lot of tourists ( thank goodness, given the hurricane damage they suffered a couple of years back). Nothing is cheap here, but some places deliver good value. This is one of those places.

Right on the water. Dining in the rough. Wife had the grouper, which was good. I had the local shrimp, which were excellent. Good portions. Really friendly and skilled staff.

Service was horrible, drinks were refilled once, we had to ask the bus lady if she could get our waitress for to go cups, and she did it herself. We were told that maybe only 1 stone crab meal (not all you can eat) might be possible. After I went inside to inquire about the pounds of stone crab in the display, she tells me this was due to other customers who had already ordered all you could eat. My husband called another restaurant down the street before he ordered and was told they had plenty of stone crab. Had Triad really wanted to make our order work they could have. Then after we were done with our meal, the waitress comes to us (only her 3rd time out) and tells us she can sell stone crab to us now.

When paying the bill not only did I noticed over half the pan of stone crab I inquired about earlier was still available but they informed me that they add gratuity for groups of 6 or more. She then added 20% to our bill for gratuity on a sticky note. One our waitress wasn't worth 20% nor was she worth 20% based on the after-tax total.

Our first time there was great, it would have been 5 Stars easy and worth the trip from Miami. We also tipped more than 20% for our amazing service as we are use to Miami which has bad service almost everywhere. We expected it would be the same this trip and took my parents who were visiting from out of state, needless to say it was so disappointing that we wont go back again. Next time we go across the state for a day out, we will try the restaurant down the street.
