This place is cool af. It's. awesome to see a place that doesn't sell alcohol recreate the bar experience. I graduated high school in 1985 when EVERYONE drank, and this would have been so conceptually unreal. It was my first time at Tydes, and I loved it. It's a very chill vibe.

I find Kava bars offer community and... some are far more welcoming than others. Since Barnes and Nobles closed on the island I have searched out coffee houses and other places to hang out... There isn't alot... You get pushed toward bar culture. If you are looking for somethng as an alternative.to bars... This is a decent one. Enjoy.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Good company and good drinks. Tys teas are always on point and up to date with flavors. If you enjoy kratom or kava id highly recommend checking this place out.

My go-to kava/kratom place in town. It's homey and a little rough around the edges but full of some of the most awesome caring folks in town. Opens at 8ish and is a great place to sit and get work done. Staff is friendly and products are diverse. Two pool tables, lots of couches. Friendly to animals. Parking is a little tight at times but they have the lot just south of their building which is a 30 second walk away. Kava and kratom plain or flavored with all natural ingredients... No high fructose corn syrup. They recently acquired the warehouse space attached to the back of the car and there are plans.... A performance space? Music? Connect? EDM? Along with this acquisition, the bar has been cleaned up and organized. Best Mitra deals in town!

I had such a wonderful time here, new to the area and transitioning my life to have more clarity and less haze. 10/10 Amazing experience, the bartender was very informative and helpful and I found 3 delicious beverages. The scene was very chill, very friendly. You wanna play pool? Chess? Hula hoop out front? Something for everyone and welcome to all đź’–

Review from a mom….
I have to say I was concerned when my 20 year old starting talking about this place and coming home very late at night. So after a few months I decided to check it out for myself. She invited me to come with her on a Saturday night. The place was packed and we had to park next door.
Upon entering there are comfortable couches and chairs and some of the people were coupled up snuggling or watching the huge TV, some were playing cards or other games. There are pool tables in the back and I think I saw some arcade games. There was also a band playing this night, the music was great. All this is FREE!
All the people there were friendly young and older, some had their dogs with them. Most of the crowd looked in the 20 range. There is a big tea bar for non alcoholic drinks. You can bring in your own food at this one, I was told. This place reminds me of Eric’s basement on that 70’s show where they all hung out, just need that freezer full of popsicles.
I wish I had a place like this when I was their age. The only thing I could suggest is maybe a bouncer just a case, you never know what might happen.
Final thoughts…. Buy some tea, tip those workers well and support this place!

I’ve been going to Tyeds Teahouse for about a year. I go during the early afternoon and in the evening.
During the day-time hours Tyeds Teahouse is a great place to come and do work on the laptop. Why come during the day? Strong wifi, plenty of places to sit, comfortable environment to work, not too busy, great vibes 24/7.
During the evening Tyeds Teahouse turns into a more of club environment. There is fire spinning and other forms of flow out front, 2 pool tables inside, a stage for live performances, a huge bar, and an endless number of awesome people to talk to!
Anyone interested in Kava should definitely give Tyeds a shot, you won’t regret it!

Great atmosphere and good drinks. Plenty to do as well, from arcade games to pool and sometimes event nights. A friend introduced me to this place a few weekends back and I have enjoyed it since. Coffee wasn’t the best but, it’s not really a coffee place anyways

Best Kava bar in the county. Between the community and friendliness of everyone there as well as the flavors that redefine kava and kratom teas this place is awesome! The live music is always great and the atmosphere is so laid back! Would recommend to anyone that wanted to try kava or kratom!
