I came looking for ambiance and a place to do some work on the computer. What I found was a cute Black-owned coffee shop, simple decor with nice lighting and cute color accents. (I’m tempted to grab a hat on their shelve). The barista is as pleasant and the woman that took my order even suggested I gave the peach cobbler a la mode. I couldn’t resist! Granted I may have to pay for the ice cream later, it was well worth it. Found a quaint place to work and unwind with good coffee and non dairy options. Best part? It’s right up the road from me!

The grand opening was 3 days ago!! Absolutely in love with this spot. First of all, Apopka doesn’t have a cute, chill, vibe coffee shop… until now! Birchwood Coffee has checked off each box you could imagine.

The top coffee choices on the menu, hot chocolate is delicious 😋 and most importantly food to go along with your choice of beverage.

Music is just right… with plenty of seating even a nice couch area to have conversations with your company. High top bar tables for those that like working on their computers. They also have a kid's corner with appropriate child-level reading books, chairs, and table.

You can tell a lot of detail went into planning the inside look. Job well done! I can’t wait to be back and this will be my usual work/social spot! There is an outside seating area as well so you can pick inside or outside.

Wow! A place that will brew me a fresh cup of decaf. Excellent customer service and relaxing atmosphere. This is my third time here. First time I ordered peach cobbler which was delicious. My new favorite coffee shop (and I am very picky!)

This place is fantastic, the Pumpkin Spice Latte actually tastes like a pumpkin pie. 🤌

Very excited I have a coffee shop like this one in Apopka.

I truly hope the local community will continue to support this business so it can thrive.

The location is good. Near other nice shops.
The service is also very good. Quick. Responsive. Attentive.

The coffee quality is excellent as well. The latte art I know is hard to develop, and it will take the rest of the team a few month to master it.

The “official” barista (I think he might be there only in the mornings?) is good with the art.

There’s also some details that make this place super cool:

- decoration
- golden spoons
- the bakery items (have not tried them yet)

I would recommend having some healthy option as well, like oatmeal bars, or something without sugar.

Overall, very happy with Birchwood!

A small latte at $5,25? 🙃

Finally a local coffee shop near home! You won't be disappointed. The coffee is great and service is quick. My wife and I and stopped by for the first time today. Plenty of room inside and outlets every where to charge your devices while working or just chilling. We ordered a latte and a cappuccino, and it was perfect. They have a good selections of desserts. I can see this place getting popular quickly. They also have a book shelf with many books in the back of the shop for those that just want to relax and read. Will be back soon!

A+ Delicious Coffee! I ordered a large latte double shot, it was done perfectly. The Lady on the front was so friendly and welcoming. I'll be back when I'm on the area for sure.

Food is delicious, had the quiche, buiscuits. Coffee and pound cake for the office! Ambiance is beautiful and relaxing. Wish they were open earlier that 8am. Also sign on the outside could say coffee or cafe so it can be better advertised or you would never know what it is unless your curious.
