So happy to live near LFS! They make lovely pastries and sandwiches, and are also really fun and great people. Their seasonal offerings are always great. Very solid coffee drinks, highly recommend the olive oil mocha!

This new Black and woman-owned cafe in Petworth is awesome! Super friendly staff, great vibes, and all the pastries and syrups are made in house. Don't miss the sausage roll or the savory scone.

Stopped by here for the first time this morning, oat milk latte, sausage roll and blood orange scone were all delicious! Loved the music they were playing, the staff were so friendly and service was quick. Great vibes! Will absolutely be back soon.

Fantastic food and drinks, friendly and helpful service, and overall great vibes! Everything we tried (cherry scone, sausage roll, cinnamon oat latte, cherry blossom lemonade) was absolutely amazing. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, asking questions and making sure we got our order exactly as we wanted. It's a small space but with a great outdoor area to wait for your order, and public benches nearby if you want to sit and eat. Also, I felt like the pricing was a bit more affordable than some other trendy DC coffee shops. 10/10 recommend and I will definitely be returning to try more goodies!

Big energy and positive vibes surround this little cafe in Petworth. Once you pass the "Black Built. Black Owned. Black Baked. Black Brewed" sign in the window, you're swept away by music jamming, staff dancing and the smell of pastries baking. There's no better way to start your morning in Washington, D.C.
After years working in D.C.'s food scene, owner Danielle started her own food studio out of a small green brick building on Upshur Street NW where competition is tough. However, she carved out a unique piece of the restaurant pie brewing coffee and baking sweet and savory pastries in the morning and sandwiches for lunch.
For breakfast, they have sweet and savory options and some items that combine the two like the break pudding muffin with vanilla and fennel. The balsamic tart cherry scone is sweeter whereas the pancetta scone is savory. The sausage roll combines fennel and sage in a pork filled pastry.
They have a full espresso bar with flat whites, lattes, cortados and any other coffee drink you can imagine.
The service isn't service, it's family. They treat everyone with respect and welcome you as family.
Little Food Studio serves good food, brews great coffee and leaves you having a good day.

Incredible breakfast! Flaky, perfect sausage rolls. Rich bread pudding. A complex sweet scone and an addicting savory scone. Delicious espresso. What more can you ask for? Can’t wait to come back and try lunch next.

Finally, a breakfast spot that knows how to make a chai latte that isn't just doused in sugar! I found out about this spot from Reddit and enjoyed finding out they make everything from scratch fresh every morning. The cherry orange scone was excellent and the small outdoor seating outside make this a perfect place to post up on a weekend morning. I'll be back for sure.

I visit little foods at minimum twice a week! It is the most loveliest establishment w/ an amazing staff and owner who provides welcoming and friendly customer service. The food and beverage options are phenomenal! I really love all three scone selections, the chocolate chip cookie and the veggie sandwiches the best. I’ve fallen in love with their seasonal items such as the tomato soup and the lemon cookies! I always prefer my iced tea w/ a combination of their tasty syrups (basil+mint and honey are my favorite combos). I will highly recommend little foods to infinity + , such a great space w/ fresh and tasty foods/beverages.

Amazing food and friendly staff! This place is such a charm of the Petworth neighborhood! Their scones are my favorite in the area.
