La Colombe Coffee Roasters

Coffee was good and atmosphere was nice - fairly empty at 3pm on a random Thursday. No wifi though which is surprising considering it’s a coffee shop and only a few power outlets available if you need to plug in a laptop or charge a phone.

My first experience here was bad, but I chalked it up to the barista having a bad day and gave it another chance. Sadly, the second visit was just as bad - for additional reasons than the first visit. On my first visit, the barista was rude and unhelpful. Again, he could have been having a bad day, but he was unwelcoming. Side note, the place is spacious and would be great to work from, but there's no wifi. The second time around, my pastry was stale and my drink was a scam. Don't get the draft drinks. Once (what I'm guessing was) the nitro foam settled, the cup was barely a third full. So I paid $6 for air and a couple sips. Once again the baristas were unhelpful and unwelcoming.

Great Espresso but more importantly great staff. I have been to many really good coffee shops. This is a GREAT coffee shop and it's Ali and her staff that make the difference. The space is also very inviting. Highly recommend - which I rarely do.

Such an all around great spot! You gotta try the oat dark and tan cold brew or the dirty chai cold brew.

Pour overs are done with care (container is heated before coffee is poured in) and staff is friendly. Several tables with 2 tiny stools and/or benches. 3 or 4 high tops inside with more seats outside when it's warmer. Bathrooms aren't super clean.

I was so disappointed with my experience, the tables still limited and No AC in a hot summer day , otherwise the coffee was good and the barista was nice & welcoming.

Their coffee is good. I ordered flat white. However, the place doesn’t have AC and they still have limited tables and time.

I love La Colombe's coffee, and now that they havr opened the big space on Florida Ave. I love sitting there in the afternoon and do some work. The coffee is excellent and they also have a good selection of sweets (including cannelé and very good croissants!) as well as savory treats. It tends to get quite crowded on weekends, but weekdays are usually pretty quiet.

The interior is well decorated and welcoming. Their coffee is always great and strong enough for me. Why is this location not 5 star rating? First, this place doesn’t provide WiFi connection so you need to bring your own. Second, the employees don’t greet you or even say thank you. I’ve had better experience at other locations.

I almost never write reviews but I really hate this coffee shop. They have two outlets for the whole coffee shop. Overpriced and snooty.

Great open space, coffee’s serviceable, but the pastries appeared unfresh and incredibly dry (the croissant pictured snapped like a biscuit). La Colombe also just upped their pricing into the realm of absurdity - it now costs $5 for a non-dairy latte. In a city with more and more high-quality coffee options, I’ll be coming to La Colombe less.
