I wasn't impressed. The customer service was horrible - the young lady behind the counter seemed disinterested when I asked questions about the menu. It was clear that she would rather have been on her phone. She also began to mop 2 hours before the cafe was to close ...that can be misconstrued as a get out signal to customers. Lastly, the cafe is unnecessarily expensive. It costs nearly $4.00 for a muffin. I definitely won't be back.
Big fan of this hidden gem! The foul (pronounced more like (ful) is an absolutely delicious breakfast dish, and they also have bagels and egg sandwiches. Ice coffee is everything you could ask for. Staff is super friendly, and place is always clean. They also have pastries and cakes that look great. Would highly recommend!
Love this place. They have great coffee that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and the people working there are so nice. Don't let the name scare you off, it's a chill place that's great for meeting people or getting work done. Definitely go here instead of Starbucks!
Hype Cafe is a low key spot with great coffee. It’s a great place to avoid the hectic nature of Starbucks, read a book, or do a little work. The menu is diverse and offers a few choice Ethiopian selections.
Friendly neighborhood cafe with limited but tasty menu offerings, coffee is very well prepared, service is welcoming, window view seating to enjoy your java and watch the passing by.
Paid $4 including tip for a Stash tea bag from a box. Could have bought an entire box of the same tea at a supermarket for about the same price. I wanted the chai latte at first, but after I realized it’s made from a syrup instead of actual tea, I decided to pass on that. I was very underwhelmed by the quality of the options for tea people.
Lovely neighborhood coffee spot. I come here at least once a week to work. Great ambiance including quiet study-esque music playing at a good volume, people chatting softly, and nice coffee and treats.
Very peaceful place to work. Unlike the Starbucks just blocks away where the music is always too loud. The caramel Frape was perfection, but only next to the chocolate fudge cake!
