$2.00 FOR A SLICE OF CHEESE???? I went to Cafe Philips because they are located in the building that I work in. I also had a coupon for 2.00 off for any sandwich. I go to Philips and order my sandwich. When I get to the cashier, I notice she charge me the regular price for my sandwich. I explained that I had a coupon for $2.00 off . Her response was "oh the cheese is $2.00 extra" I could not believe it who charges $2.00 for cheese. I should have thrown the sandwich at her., but I left it on the counter and walked out. Now I tell everyone and anyone DO NOT EAT AT CAFE PHILIPS
I've never been to a place with so many rules! No breakfast after 10:30...no fries until noon...Splenda is kept behind the register (inside secret only regulars know)...out of order sign on restroom (ask if they have a restroom and they'll hand you the key if you've purchased something. They'll slide it to you as if you have a disease, but gladly open their palms to receive your cash). I'm OVER this ratchet place! 2 words: Don't go!
This is 'the bad Phillip's.' Between lacksadaisical service that doesn't know how to run a line and keep it moving, the $8 MINIMUM FOR CREDIT CARDS, and the sandwiches that are lazily constructed with smaller portions than other Phillip's, I try to avoid this location as much as possible. This place really tarnishes the Phillip's brand in DC. I walk to 'the good one.'

Good location and variety but a little on the pricey side

Good Food Fast Food 👌🏾 drinks kinda pricey but honestly for DC a full meal here isn't too expensive!

Best little cafe/grill in the area especially for breakfast. Good selection of drinks and snacks.
