The food is exceptional and the staff is very pleasant and quick with the food. <3 I got a turkey and cheese on brioche, blueberry donut, and Chai latte. Also they don't seem to have a problem if you want to bring your own cup. (:

Cute little place. But honestly it was a little dirty (garbage and crumbs all over the furniture and floor). Chai latte was just okay, not much flavor. Especially for the price :/ I HATE being someone to complain about employees but the staff made me feel unwelcome. The music is actually really loud but that I care less about. I just wouldn’t recommend not having your own ear buds lol. Basically I probably wouldn’t visit again. The muffins DID look reallly good though so I would consider grabbing one of those if I was hungry and on the way to somewhere else.

I went into this cafe for the first time today while perusing the Eastern Market festivities. The male cashier just stared at me blankly, instead of owning his position and offering a greeting like "Good morning, what can I get started for you?". Something to show he was ready to take my order. And when I asked my sandwich to go, the woman rolled her eyes, like it was really a problem. Really? Based on customer interaction alone, I won't patronize this place again.

Great corner coffee shop, good breakfast sandwiches. Sit at an outside table, or an inside seat
at one of the nice windows and watch people and their animals walking by this busy corner.
Here, the difference between a "slushie" & a "frappe" is the slushies have ice cream in them.

I went here and one of the coworkers had an attitude because I wanted some more napkins. She rolled her eyes at me and said “ Here you go.”
And then called me something under her breath. Then the white mocha latte was horrible it tasted like the milk and coffee was bad. Overall I think this place can use some work.

I want to like this place!! The cafe is cute and comfy, great for working during the day if you don't need very strong wifi for video calls.

However, the staff is consistently rude.

I went recently and ordered an oat milk latte. Waited 15 mins for the drink, and when it came it was marked whole milk.

I asked for the drink to be made with oat milk like I ordered, and the woman was very rude to me and stated that the oatmilk costs more. I asked politely for her to remake and stated I'd pay the fee for the oatmilk.

Less than a minute later the latte was ready. I'm very certain she took the whole milk label off and handed me back the original drink.

I'm very lactose intolerant and got sick that evening into the next morning.

Unfortunately this isn't the first time I've received undue attitude at this spot.

I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin. I specifically asked if the bacon could be made extra crispy. What I got was a sandwich with bacon that looked like it was removed from the fridge and placed on the sandwich. Disgusting. Don't recomend and will never go back. It was not that busy either.

This place was fantastic. I worked out of the Cafe for a day. Wi-Fi never dropped. Coffee and tea were tasty. I was never pressured to keep buying drinks/food in order to stay like in some other places. They run out of croissants mid day it seems so get there a bit early if possible. Standard croissant, but the breakfast croissant is nice. My recommendation is to get the chicken pesto for lunch. So damn good. I'll be back to eat there again. Thanks for the hospitality!

I have never been to a place in DC with such awful customer service. The girl behind the counter had the worst attitude. I asked her opinion about a drink and she rolled her eyes and said “I don’t drink that so I don’t know, it’s whatever.” Then when I asked if there was a problem because she was talking under her breath to her coworker about me, she said what’s your problem I’m talking about something that ain’t got nothing to do with you. Her co-worker, a young man, was trying to be professional but she was too outrageous. I’d love to know who her supervisor is because she needs some serious training before she interacts with the public. Get your coffee somewhere else!

I went for the first time yesterday since this cafe opened. I was surprised not that much changed inside since changing owners, but thats alright if the coffee/service is good. Unfortunately the two baristas seemed very unhappy. They never smiled, we’re not very courteous… It just wasn’t a good vibe. I got a caramel macchiato and it was good enough. I don’t yet have an actual opinion on there coffee since a caramel macchiato is mostly milk.
