Love love love this place! Their coffees are amazing, and the breakfast food is great too. Definitely the best local coffee spot around, I come here anytime I want to go out for breakfast. Friendly staff and cute interior too

As an avid coffee drinker, Birdhouse is one of my favorites - their espresso is very good. They run seasonal specials & have a variety of flavorings and milk offerings. Out of the dozens of times I have been, I have only ever had one latte that just truthfully wasn’t good. My fiancé and I stop by relatively often & recently we took advantage of their happy hour specials. At first, I ordered a spicy sausage flatbread & house made chips and fries ($5 each - good deal!) I’m not a huge fan of peppers which I didn’t realize the flatbread had those but it was still tasty! The house made chips were decent as well - I LOVED the ranch. We took advantage of their fry flight (oh my goodness - what a portion!) which was enjoyable as well. As someone who very rarely drinks, I ordered the buzzed blueberry (spiked lemonade, vodka, blueberries, and lemonade) which was delicious. I believe their ranch is made in house and one thing I had noticed was that the ranch that was served with the chips had less dill than the one served with the fries. Consistency is key but other than that, I highly recommend checking them out if you’re ever in the area. CT Valley Brewery attached is also a must try as well!

Cute place for a quick (breakfast)bite. Kind of on the pricier side for what they serve. The pecan caramel cheesecake cup is worth coming back here for. Everything else is just average, not bad but nothing special.

I had a lavender latte, one of their seasonal lattes, loved it! They have nice sitting area where I was able to sit and get my work done. The best thing about them is that they stay open late! Will definitely go back.

Edit: My family and I came back, and it still does not disappoint! The food is top-notch! The staff are passionate and will go alone and beyond to make the customer happy! The photo is the Breki Burrito-fully loaded.
The coffee was great! The pastries looked delicious, I will definitely be trying them next time I visit. The breakfast burrito was fully stuffed and tasted great.
If you are a coffee lover, then you need to try Birdhouse coffee. They roast their own coffee beans, and the beans are fresh. They make the coffee in many different ways.

The servers were friendly, but the line was long. I would say that's a good thing popularity wise, but still, I waited for about 20 minutes to get to the counter and order. My drink was meh and was quite expensive. It was not what I was expecting. I got the maple brown sugar oat shaker, and it tasted like a really strong cinnamon flavor (think fireball cinnamon), which was very surprising since it said it would just have a sprinkle of cinnamon on the top) and is not a flavor I would have chosen. I will absolutely give it another try as some of their other options sounded really yummy, and I hear nothing but great things about this place! Until next time!

Stopped here for a coffee after seeing it was attached to the brewery we were at a few weeks before that. The line was long but there was an event going on so it was expected. The staff was efficient and friendly! My latte was great! I love their unique options they offer throughout the year. My favorite was the rose latte I had last summer! I also like the outdoor seating they have. If you’re looking for a coffee spot that hosts events often I would recommend!

We went there for a cruise night with our car. They have awesome spiked slushies. And very good food and friendly atmosphere and workers. The entertainment was decent, they were good with the songs they had on their playlist. They said they took requests but never played a song that I requested. Dog friendly too!

I stopped in here for some coffee with friends on a Sunday morning and hadn't been here since the winter. I was happy to see all the changes they made with added food, cute decorations and more drink options. The line was HUGE! People definitely like this place and the adorable interior and outside seating I'm sure is a big driver of that.
They have good food and drink options, but my biggest issue is the pricing. A standard drip coffee ice coffee is $4, not including adding any flavors. A small corn muffin was also $4 and other items on the menu seemed expensive for what you get. However, people seem to be willing to pay so why not?
Additionally there is not a very efficient process in this place which is why the line is so long. There is only one register and just not enough people to handle the volume of orders. I ordered online for pickup and no one was monitoring the mobile order section so I actually looked at my order on the counter waiting for someone to come over to me.
Its very cute, good options, but a bit expensive and takes a long time. Overall its good.

First time here was the first nice Sunday of this spring. Pair that with a car show and the place was quite busy.
Instead of standing in line to order I downloaded the app and used it instead.
I placed an order for a breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, and an ice coffee drink. The app said about 25 minutes. I figured that was normal, it's not a fast food place so I went to sit outside. 20 minutes later I went inside in case my order was ready ahead of schedule since it has happened before at other places. About 5 minutes later they called my name and I went up and saw the iced coffee waiting with the receipt.
I got the coffee and waited a few minutes for the food. It didn't come out so I brought the coffee to the person it was for outside.
I went back in and waited a few more minutes but nothing. I decided I'd rather wait outside and just check the app to see if it would let me know when the food was ready.
I saw someone I knew outside and talked to them for awhile. A guy on a motorcycle couldn't get his bike to start so we push started him in the parking lot. My friend was leaving so I went back in to get the food. I figured it was waiting by now. Still not there. This time I noticed a sign on the counter that said food will take 1 hour. Ok that's twice as long as the app said but it must be close to an hour by now so it should be ready soon.
The little girl sitting at the table selling girl scout cookies asked if I would like any. I said no thanks I already have a bunch at home. Her mom reminds her to let me know I can buy a box to donate.
I go inside and they call my name. I get the bag with my breakfast burrito in it. No breakfast sandwich though. Oops it's not ready it will be a few more minutes but they gave me a light up buzzer this time. I wait a few minutes and the buzzer goes off. I bring it up and place it on the counter. Someone goes in the back and brings it out to me.
I bring the food outside and give the breakfast sandwich to the person who ordered it. They take it out and take a bite. No bacon. The order included bacon for an extra charge.
I go back in and wait a couple minutes at the counter until someone acknowledges me after helping other people. I let them know there was no bacon and I can take it on the side. They go back and bring me two pieces of bacon. I bring them outside. Now it's been over an hour an a half since I placed the order. I think my burrito had a little bit of bacon and no sausage on it even though I got it loaded for $5 more.
The burrito was good, the egg sandwich was good and the iced coffee was good but by the time I'm thirsty and I'm not going back in to stand in line for a drink after after I tipped "to insure promptness."
I realize it was a busy day and they had a lot of orders but they didn't look understaffed. There was no water out for customers and I wasn't about wait in line to buy a bottled water after that. I'm probably not going to go back but the food was decent. $30 was a lot for a breakfast burrito that took an hour and a half and an egg sandwich that came without bacon.
