Rich, yummy coffee beans are roasted on-site, friendliest service in town, and super cool ambiance. Plan to enjoy your latte & loaded oatmeal outside for a warm, happy morning in SoG.

Excellent local establishment. The coffee is top-notch, the food is tasty, and the service is always on point. It's a small shop and can get a little tight when all seats are full, but everyone stays friendly.

Hands down the best place for coffee any time of the day! Love the coffee shop and the owner is very nice and sweet.

Their coffee is delicious and the ambiance is perfect for a coffee house. The baristas are so friendly and quick. I really enjoy their breakfast pastries as well. Try the blueberry muffin!

Excellent coffee and baked goods. I also buy my whole coffee beans here. Great selection and supporting local business!

I purchased two bags of coffee; one regular and one decaf. Unfortunately I've come to determine that the "decaf" has a decent amount of caffeine in it. I wouldn't say it's as high as the regular, but it does give me a caffeine hit and has worked to wake me up in the morning and has kept me from being tired at night (which is primarily when I drink decaf). I just wanted to mention it as I know some people have medical concerns with caffeine and this could be an issue.
As far as the roasts themselves, I don't care for them. They do not seem to be skillfully roasted. None of the origin characteristics were evident in the roasts, and both tasted similar even though they were from vastly different origins. The decaf was slightly darker and had a bit of smokey flavor because of that; but otherwise they were both very generic "coffee flavor". The point to single origin roasting is to be able to taste the differences between the origins with flavor notes like fruit, florals, chocolate, etc. (similar to tasting notes in wine). If the roasting was improved and some lighter roasts were available (to better showcase the bean's natural flavor), I'd try again as I like to support local businesses if they can provide what I'm looking for.

Great local coffee shop with friendly owner and staff. Unique coffee blends. Tasty morning pastries and creative lunchtime soups - get there early as they do run out of the soups.

Chai latte just tasted like milk. Gets 2 stars for the ambience.
Edit: it gets 2 stars instead of 1 star because the ambience was nice.

Cosy, welcoming, perfumed with delicious scents of freshly roasted coffees and delectable pastries and muffins, this charmer coffee destination has all the right elements to be a neighborhood treasure. Even on this slightly chilly April Saturday morn the outdoor front porch with tables for caffè-al-fresco seductively invite a sunny sit down. In contrast, the interior is dimmed to perfection for those of us who cannot bear too much light until we get a decent dose of fresh roasted beans. Both the owner Karen, and her lovely assistant were adorable and intuitive about our needs and tastes. WOW! We had the softest smoothest cappuccini * with fairytale frothy caps! Of course we bought coffee for home use: Organic Bali Blue Moon, Organic Ethiopian, Viennese Roast and Espresso Roast...and of course we ran home as fast as possible to brew!
*Cappucini-In Italian the plural for Cappuccino!

I can't express how comforting it is to be greeted by name and the staff know just what I want on a crappy rainy morning. Or on a bright sunny weekend, either! Pair that with a matchless Earl Grey tea and warm cranberry scone or steel-cut oatmeal, and life is just the best. Kudos to Karen and her wonderful staff. We live in a world where all things are possible.
