GORGEOUS SPACE, FRIENDLY STAFF & GREAT COFFEE IN THE CENTER OF TOWN! The perfect spot for a relaxing respite from your hectic day, to get together with friends, or to get some work done! I’ve been a few times, and I especially love how each room offers a totally different vibe. There is the front reading room with oversized, comfy leather chairs and books to borrow that offers a more sophisticated feel. The backroom is bright and colorful with a gorgeous Simsbury mural, Adirondack chairs, and plenty of counter space for working (free WiFi). The front dining room is more traditional, with tables to easily put together for small or large groups. There is seating outside on the front porch, and plans to expand more outdoor seating. Super friendly staff and, most importantly, delicious coffee and baked goods!

Absolutely charming SPOT for coffee drinks, desserts, breakfast and lunch in pretty downtown Simsbury. Unique seating options in a restored Victorian. Also outdoor “Adirondack” chair seating. Friendly and quick service. Reasonably priced $$. Good portions.
I’ll definitely be back and recommend to friends!
My only quibble:: switch to paper or compostable straws.

Amazing coffee and teas, delicious freshly Baked goods made in house. Awesome sandwiches and a gorgeous place to chat with friends, cozy up with a good book and enjoy our vibrant town. Must visit this great place! Can’t wait to go back. The chai yes is amazing. And I love my chai tea!

I have been to this gem almost everyday and have never been disappointed!! I’ve tried everything from cookies, bars and scones (you don’t have to eat gluten free to adore the GF molasses spice cookies holy cow!), wraps and today the sandwich special. It was a fresh mozzarella, baby spinach and tomato sandwich on a toasted ciabatta with a balsamic glaze. How can we get this onto the regular menu?? It was delicious. And lastly, the one thing I haven’t strayed from is my coffee choice (had both iced and hot) and that is The Sweet Spot. I get mine with oat milk and it’s just the perfect mix of espresso and cinnamon and a touch of sweetness. Come visit and sit in the book room for some quiet reading with a cup of coffee or outside or in, tables are socially distanced, with friends.

I love this place! Clean, bright, and friendly people. It's big enough to find a quiet corner to yourself if you want. It's a nice break from the regular chain establishments.

Delicious coffee, friendly staff, and the ability to sit on the front lawn under a willow trees makes The Coffee Spot a must-visit while in Simsbury.

What wonderful little Coffee Spot!!! I truly enjoyed a delicious latte on the sun porch that had a mural of Simsbury flower bridge. There is also a cozy reading room and a room with tables to enjoy a more formal meeting place. Congratulations to Amy Sheehan for opening a restaurant during these COVID19 times. I have my punch and plan to return for lunch!

They have Gluten Free pastries they make on site. And they are delicious! Staff is always welcoming. I would highly recommend this spot.

Absolutely love The Coffee Spot!! Their drinks and baked goods are so delicious, and the atmosphere is just what Simsbury needed. An iced Sweet Spot coffee is the best!
