I’m not sure if I got the wrong coffee since most people are raving, but the cappuccino was very mediocre. Bagel was also mediocre, and poorly schmeared with cream cheese. Also pricey. Atmosphere even felt off to me. There are better coffee shoes in the area.

A pretty hip place with a good selection of pour overs, espresso and cold brew. I go to Koffee? for sheer volume. I go to the Pedaler for quality brews.

Update: wine is very good too

The best cafe in New Haven. Great vibes, good food selection, nice baristas, and most importantly, choice espresso. Don’t be fooled by posers (cough East Rock Coffee cough), come into the Pedaler today!

Nice if overly fussy coffee shop. Good coffee, out-of-this-world baklava, and quiet, so it's a good place to meet someone and actually have a conversation. On street parking is usually not a problem.

My favorite coffee place in New Haven. Nice people (including the owner Ryan), great coffee. If you're heavily into caffeine like I am, try their cold brew!

Flat White for the win. Great coffee- best we've had yet in USA.
Rosemary Bagels were delish too.
Chairs uncomfortable though - but I will sit through anything to have the great coffee!

Coffee-wise, they're one of, if not the strongest game in New Haven. They have artistic decor against a brick walled backdrop, mismatched chairs, and your grandmother's old couch. The hipster vibe is strong with this one. However, seating can be sparse. If you need an electrical outlet, your only option is being crammed against a side bar on a stool with minimal space (where at most 4 people can fit), on the one couch, or at the back table (which is about 2 feet from the bathroom, receiving the full array of the accompanying smells. While I can usually get a spot, a couple times I've walked in and just had to immediately turn around and walk out - no where to sit. However, if you're looking for a good quality, "Yale grad student"-y coffee experience, this is a great place.

Your go-to coffee shop for high quality specialty coffee and precise coffee brew methods. The environment bleeds small and quaint New Haven. Just order a pour over and prepare to taste more than just "coffee".

Delicious coffee and welcoming atmosphere.

Delicious coffee, fantastic food, and a cosy interior make The Coffee Pedaler a top notch coffee shop. You can come here to hang out with a friend, catch up on some reading, or to just relax. My favorite coffee shop in New Haven.
