Quaint coffee shop! Not far from the beach/ocean. Gluten Free baked goods ... molasses cookie was delicious!

Such an awesome place! Walnut Beach is so blessed to have it here. The place is cozy, warm and inviting! The staff are all so friendly. The coffee ( any of the tons of flavors) is delicious!! All the extra goodies to choose to go with your beverage are great combinations. Your choice of eating in the cozy atmosphere or choosing to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Check it out once and you'll be hooked!!!

This brand new, stylish, adorable coffee shop is just what this neighborhood needed. I stopped in for lunch and had their Lifeguard wrap and almond milk latte. So delicious! This is a perfect spot for those who need a quick bite to eat, or spend the afternoon working on the computer, or go for an afternoon coffee date! Because this establishment is new, the wifi wasn’t readily available, but the girl at the counter was able to help me connect my laptop to their wifi so I can work on my homework.
I used to always go to the nearest Starbucks, but I think I will be coming here more often to support a local business.
Other positives is that their coffee is fair trade, ample parking outside or around neighborhood, you can sit outside, and outlets close to some tables. I can see myself coming here especially in the summer to grab lunch, then take a short walk to Walnut Beach Creamery. I wish them all the best luck, check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!!

The place itself is very cute and conveniently located. Its a fairly new spot so I can sympathize with the hurdles they have to jump through to train staff but I was really disappointed by my first visit. I ordered $40 worth of food - at first the owner was there but left around 3 PM, the girl at the counter was new and had very little knowledge of the menu and how to use the cash register. I was turned off by that but understood it was her first day. After the owner left, another girl came to help the new girl. I asked her where the pastries were from and she did not know....I thought that was surprising seeing as they market the baked goods so you would assume they knew what bakery they came from. I am also a little surprised they do not make their own baked goods. After I waited 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches....I asked both girls if my order would be ready soon because I had to pick up my daughter. They asked me if I played an order....? It was very strange because I had just ordered my food, paid for it, and I was literally the only customer. The never gave my order to the cook. I said that was OK but could they ask how long it would take....the cook said 15 minutes so unfortunately I had to leave. The girl ended up giving me a gift card because she didn't know how to give me a refund. I'll definitely try the place again but If I owned the place, I would make sure my staff was 75% trained before Ieft them alone. The prices are extremely high so great service would soften that blow and make the experience much better...

I really like the ambience of this place. Friendly staff and an enjoyable environment- outside or in. Attentive manager and servers- it made me feel at home. Stop in to work on your laptop or just to relax a bit- I hope they soon add some breakfast egg suggestions on their menu. Please go and enjoy yourself at this new, great spot!

I can honestly say that this is the best breakfast place in Connecticut. I am very picky and wont eat meat and I struggle to find places to eat that will respect that but this place was extremely helpful and kind. Not to mention that the coffee here is 1000x better than Starbucks. The food is fresh and the staff is very kind. oh and it’s incredibly clean, the interior is modern and the kitchen is pristine. Perfect place for anyone!
