Greiser’s Coffee & Market

Bought a sandwich, yogurt, apple, banana, and coffee, they refuse to give my son a cup of water. Really? Is that even legal? Will not be returning ever again.

I love the spot. It is small and only one place to sit outside that I saw. Good products and friendly servers. Lots of stuff (locally written books, gourmet foods, fresh eggs, etc.) for sale. Sweet, tiny, clean bathroom with historic pictures hunging all over the walls. It is a quaint "get away" easy and short distance from Westport and surrounding towns.

Situated “off the beaten path“ (just off Route 136, actually), Greiser’s is more than just “coffee & market”. First, they have taken the time to learn how to make coffee right! Maybe no 15 flavor offerings. Just great traditional coffee and espresso-based drinks. And also great teas. More than that, great basic pastry offerings. The sandwich offerings may be limited, but thoughtful (I’m going with “artisianal” as my descriptor) in preparation. As for the market, it is a quiet and loving celebration of the the creative offerings of local artisans. Walmart, it isn’t. It best appreciated when one stops in for a coffee and a sandwich. Just to sit there and watch Adrianne Burke (owner) and her fine staff treating strangers who come in as neighbors, or Acquaintances as friends. Once you are finished, you leave there refreshed, not just in nourishment, but refreshed for having once again experienced all that is good about small towns in America. Yes, it is small in space. But it is big in heart.

At first glance Greiser's stands out as a welcoming spot to grab a coffee and a light bite. But there's more to Greiser's than great coffee and tons of charm. Spend a few minutes looking around and you'll find all kinds of quality artisan goods, gourmet foods, and kitchen staples too. And what you can't see, but what means so much to our town, is Greiser's has brought our little town together and created a wonderful sense of community. They have supported local artists, partnered with other Easton businesses, created community events and even offered curbside groceries when we were all desperate for safer ways to buy groceries. Greiser's is an Easton gem!

Greiser's has leveled up Easton! Any morning that I have a chance to stop into Greiser's, I know is going to be a great day because of their amazing coffee, kind employees and ever-changing assortment of goods to buy! Greiser's makes mornings and afternoons in Easton a gift! The new jalapeño cheese sandwich is a MUST try!

A delightful surprise on our trip through the Connecticut countryside... charming and friendly, carrying unique organic teas, good coffee and hot chocolate, and a delightful limited menu of paninis and breakfast sandwiches. Fig and cheese panini comes highly recommended. Well worth the stop!

Just had an amazing yet simple breakfast sandwich. Perfection. Shoppe is adorable. Staff friendly. Lovely little gift and gourmet items. Expensive shoppe but reasonable food.

I had one of the most negative experiences I’ve had in a very very very long time about two hours ago in there on Saturday 4/17/21. I walked in for the FIRST TIME and went to the glass case to look to see what they had to eat. I had been there literally 3 minutes when the very rude lady making coffee with thick glasses looks at me angrily and says “There’s a line around the back”. I said “I’m just looking if that’s okay with you”. I left and will NEVER set foot in that store or spend a single dime in it. What a shame.

Delicious coffee, farm-fresh food for one of the best sandwiches you may ever have, lovely market and a fabulous owner and staff. Greiser's is a true Easton gem!!
